One note for Midchapter: the random focus on zombies of all things on the latest statistics drop seems like a HUGE hint for Walking Dead as the mid chapter. If not, I honestly want to say Ellie (Last of Us), Isaac Clarke (Dead Space), Lucy McLean (Fallout), Gordon Freeman, or Lara Croft. My reasoning is that we seem to be getting a focus on “games” this year: D&D, Castlevania… Walking Dead might fit in too a bit as it has a prominent game series attached to it. That also leads me to believe 34 is Frank Stone or whomever the killer in that game is, with Springtrap or Slenderman as March
Okay so hot take. The predator would not be a good killer. HEAR ME OUT the predator has VERY defined powers but they are JUST too close to Huntress and Wraith, as much as I love the classics and predator is a great movie. Due to the problems with giving them a power it just doesn't work in my head. But hey prove me wrong, give me a solid power concept that isnt Huntress/ Wraith and actually fits predator.

Licensed Mid-chapter I am 99.5% sure is Daryl Dixon considering he followed Dead by Daylight a few days ago and DBD followed BACK. He also has history of playing years ago. The fact that Dead by Daylight followed Norman Reedus backed is pretty much a confirmation.

(Games) or Vanessa Afton (Movie) as Survivor(s). I'm ok with Springtrap being added later in into the Game, maybe at the end of 2025 when the FNAF 2 Movie releases
I have a feeling it’s Jason considering the IP has officially left the legal hell it’s found itself in for the past couple of years and if we can get him for Multiversus of all games, my guess is BHVR and DbD is next on the agenda.
Considering we’ll be getting our first vampire killer with Castlevania in August, I think December would be the perfect time to add a werewolf killer. This is probably a stretch but since we’ve gotten the were-cat and were-elk cosmetics within a year or so, I wonder if that might be a tease for a werewolf later down the line. Surely they have given it thought when designing those cosmetics.

@@joshclements0022 it depends, maps are the hardest thing to make especially if it isn’t conventional. Pinhead for example didn’t get a map because the only options were too sexual. The Pizzerias could be too small to make a map out of. That’s just my rationale, I honestly doubt it’s springtrap
Daryl Dixon is likely the July survivor cuz season 2 of his show drops in July, and when BHVR did that last post about stats they brought up Nemesis’s zombies and that a “zombie apocalypse is coming”, so I think Nemesis is gonna get some changes and Daryl is gonna drop, I also think Candyman has a higher chance now cuz he has the same license holder’s as Chucky, same also with The Thing, they all share the same owner

Feel like the most likely would be Jason JasonUniverse clears up the licensing for Jason himself (the survivor are still iffy so a paragraph makes sense) Jason in multiversus is a very good reason as it shows games are a highly licensing , and as you stated mcote stated they would jump onto it as s0on as they could which I would say would happen immediately saying he’s by far the most iconic horror character probably ever and apparently this year is bigger than Chucky , alien , Alan wake and a real life person Nicolas cage So I feel like it has to be something big I get castavana and dnd are probably there biggest licenses so far but I can guarantee you half the players of dbd don’t realise how big they are (some still think dnd is not horror)
In regard to the conversation you shared with Blue Isle Studios (The studio behind Slender: The Arrival): I had reached out to them as well and got a response in which they said they simply could not talk about it. This response here that you've shared is a big deal for a few reasons: 1. It's another confirmation of their interest to work with Behavior on a Slender Chapter in DbD. 2. While it's exciting, I actually think it points towards the prospect of Slender joining DbD later rather than sooner (if at all), and here's why: If they have actually reached out, their willingness to disclose the fact that they've reached out insinuates that they haven't gotten a response from Behavior. If that's the case, production for a Slender chapter hasn't even begun - and we know they usually plan a chapter at least a year in advance. This means that a Slender chapter in DbD wouldn't be possible until the latter-half of 2025 or even later. Let's look at the idea of Behavior having already responded to Blue Isle: If they had gotten a response in which Behavior said "no" to a collaboration, there wouldn't have been a reason to say they reached out in the first place. If Behavior said "yes" to a collaboration, I imagine Blue Isle would most likely be under an NDA so as to not easily discuss any communications they have going on with Behavior. This makes Blue Isle sharing the fact that they've reached out to Behavior very unlikely. Slender Man joining DbD is my literal dream license! I would love it! So while I 100% hope that the March solo licensed killer will be the Slendy Boi himself, that message from Blue Isle makes me feel less hopeful at the prospect of Slender joining the fog anytime during DbD's 9th year.

While I would love to see the predator in dbd the problem is that we have other killers that already cover the aspects of his power, like if you want his power to be his plasma caster we already have huntress and unknown who would function similarly to it, and if you want him to camouflage we already have the wraith.

@@NotK0R0 Well the thing is that imo most powers besides ranged attacks are either mobility powers or chase powers, as shown with billy and bubba. But the problem is that there already are two killers with invisibility powers, and one is a traversal power while the other is a chase power. Which doesn’t really leave a lot of room for a unique invisibility power. Also for his plasma caster there isn’t much room for an ability either because if they make it a ranged damage attack then it can either be like huntresses or the unknowns which also doesn’t really leave room for a unique power. And also it’s probably way easier to come up with a unique power for vecna than it is predator just because there’s like a million spells in dnd which doesn’t make it hard to pick out four unique ones, but with predator most things we’ve seen him do in the movies are things that are extremely similar to dbd killers powers.
@@BannedGaming-jc4ic " two killers with invisibility powers", there's even more. there's four, and depeding on if you coun't undetectable as stealth too or not it goes higer. we got onryo, wraith, spirit and chucky as actual invisibility (so, four, not two), and then ghostface and pig (and maybe myers if you count his tier 1 and small terror radius in tier 2) and skull merchant with on demand undetectable status. I do think we are covered on invisibility honestly, predator would be too much of a mush of wraith, singularity and skull merchant....he could work of course, and merely because of the license we know it would probably do decent, but i rather see something diferent. And i'm gonna be honest, billy and bubba are different sure, but they never shook off that feeling of billy just being dbd's bubba, even though his kit is more original than bubba's. hell, they both can be summarized as the "instadown chainsaw guys" even if i know that doesn't describe everything about them, it has some really high overlap.

35 will be Jason. The licensing for Tommy or Crystal lake is still a sticky situation. A lot of people are dismissing this too easily. Licensing adult Jason through horror inc will be easy (see multiversus)

They seem to be putting a huge emphasis on killing a bunch of zombies, and Capcom has already worked with BHVR, and he obviously fits the description perfectly. He is the zombie genocider after all. Considering the original chapter is in December, meaning a Christmas chapter, maybe it’s something like the Krampus that’s a Christmas terror. Another possibility is it’s something to tie into the Casting of Frank Stone game, since it would make some sense for them to tie the two together by having Frank become a killer in DBD. Although I don’t know when the game is releasing. For a lone survivor character that really embodies the meaning of the word survivor, what about Richard Kimble from the Fugitive series? Or Wilson from Don’t Starve? Or the protagonist or Naoya from Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor? To me the hint hints at a survival game protagonist instead of a horror game protagonist.

maybe, but most likely not august 6th is the exact day as the next DBD chapter, confirmed to be castlevania, so there's 2 big problems with that for one, i don't think they'd announce an upcoming chapter the same day as another one is releasing, as they only do that on anniversaries for the game (which just passed) and furthermore, when they do announce future chapters, it always at most 3 months away; this would be announcing a chapter 6 months away, something they have never done before and i'm very hesitant to believe they'd start now
Would be cool, but sadly very unlikely, since F13 franchise and Jason are two different licenses. F13 franchise belongs to New Line Cinema and Jason belongs to Jason Universe/Horror Inc. That was also the problem JgtH and Jason X had. That's why they didn't have Friday the 13th in their name and we don't get any returning characters in that movies (they wanted Tommy in part 9, but didn't get the license for the franchise). So BHVR would have to get two licenses from different license holders for a full F13 chapter and sadly New Line Cinema doesn't seem to want to cooperate with anyone atm.
If I were to guess the survivor only mid chapter will be TWD it'll be a combination of Rick/Daryl and Michonne but as for chapter 35 I don't think it'll be a *_major_* license like FNAF or Predator those to me would be better suited for an anniversary chapter

hard disagree, guessed numerous things that turned out to be right about the chapter town map (greenville), gothic girl survivor (sable), killer is humanoid/alien (definitely vaguely humanoid and being an alien is one of the options listed in its lore), multiple characters like legion (legion is multiple characters through cosmetics, unknown has skins transforming them into different people through cosmetics), cosmetics would be 2 girls 1 guy (base look is a guy, 2 skins transforming them are girls, not counting recolors) and even ignoring all of that, there's absolutely no denying they guessed alan wake, saga anderson legendary skin, D&D chapter with vecna as a killer, and a castlevania chapter after it, all of which we know to be 100% true
My prediction is that Springtrap will be added only if he stops dominating the DBD chapter prediction video thumbnails. ...That, or they're waiting for the FNAF franchise to come up with a version of him that wouldn't be utter ass to play in DBD.

@DeadfishKing LITERALLYYY i said this before a while ago, but i think, if anything, FNAF would be TOO much for dead by daylight because they've tried to actively stay away from child murder, and you literally cannot have fnaf without child murder sure it's not super graphic in terms of visuals, but it doesn't have to be imo a story that can still be decently terrifying without a bunch of gore is much more impressive than some horror stories that just shove gore in your face and call it a day (though you can absolutely have both a good story and a lot of gore, i.e. the boys)

HEAR ME OUT the predator has VERY defined powers but they are JUST too close to Huntress and Wraith, as much as I love the classics and predator is a great movie. Due to the problems with giving them a power it just doesn't work in my head. But hey prove me wrong, give me a solid power concept that isnt Huntress/ Wraith and actually fits predator.

Licensed Mid-chapter I am 99.5% sure is Daryl Dixon considering he followed Dead by Daylight a few days ago and DBD followed BACK. He also has history of playing years ago. The fact that Dead by Daylight followed Norman Reedus backed is pretty much a confirmation.

I would honestly be a little disappointed if chapter 35 is Springtrap, because if he comes into the Game he should definitely come with a Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place (Movie) Map and Michael Afton (Games), Michael Schmidt (Movie), Vanessa A. (Games) or Vanessa Afton (Movie) as Survivor(s). I'm ok with Springtrap being added later in into the Game, maybe at the end of 2025 when the FNAF 2 Movie releases

I have a feeling it’s Jason considering the IP has officially left the legal hell it’s found itself in for the past couple of years and if we can get him for Multiversus of all games, my guess is BHVR and DbD is next on the agenda.
Considering we’ll be getting our first vampire killer with Castlevania in August, I think December would be the perfect time to add a werewolf killer. This is probably a stretch but since we’ve gotten the were-cat and were-elk cosmetics within a year or so, I wonder if that might be a tease for a werewolf later down the line. Surely they have given it thought when designing those cosmetics.

I still think Daryl in july, jason in march and castlevania will have a map along with 2 survivors.
Plus both Springtrap and Jason should be both full chapters instead of paragraphs but fnaf without a map would be a missed opportunity in my opinion. Still hoping for the best and looking forward to youir next videos ;).

Daryl Dixon is likely the July survivor cuz season 2 of his show drops in July, and when BHVR did that last post about stats they brought up Nemesis’s zombies and that a “zombie apocalypse is coming”, so I think Nemesis is gonna get some changes and Daryl is gonna drop, I also think Candyman has a higher chance now cuz he has the same license holder’s as Chucky, same also with The Thing, they all share the same owner

In regard to the conversation you shared with Blue Isle Studios (The studio behind Slender: The Arrival):
I had reached out to them as well and got a response in which they said they simply could not talk about it. This response here that you've shared is a big deal for a few reasons:
1. It's another confirmation of their interest to work with Behavior on a Slender Chapter in DbD.
2. While it's exciting, I actually think it points towards the prospect of Slender joining DbD later rather than sooner (if at all), and here's why:
If they have actually reached out, their willingness to disclose the fact that they've reached out insinuates that they haven't gotten a response from Behavior. If that's the case, production for a Slender chapter hasn't even begun - and we know they usually plan a chapter at least a year in advance. This means that a Slender chapter in DbD wouldn't be possible until the latter-half of 2025 or even later.
Let's look at the idea of Behavior having already responded to Blue Isle:
If they had gotten a response in which Behavior said "no" to a collaboration, there wouldn't have been a reason to say they reached out in the first place. If Behavior said "yes" to a collaboration, I imagine Blue Isle would most likely be under an NDA so as to not easily discuss any communications they have going on with Behavior. This makes Blue Isle sharing the fact that they've reached out to Behavior very unlikely.
Slender Man joining DbD is my literal dream license! I would love it! So while I 100% hope that the March solo licensed killer will be the Slendy Boi himself, that message from Blue Isle makes me feel less hopeful at the prospect of Slender joining the fog anytime during DbD's 9th year.

While I would love to see the predator in dbd the problem is that we have other killers that already cover the aspects of his power, like if you want his power to be his plasma caster we already have huntress and unknown who would function similarly to it, and if you want him to camouflage we already have the wraith.

@@NotK0R0 Well the thing is that imo most powers besides ranged attacks are either mobility powers or chase powers, as shown with billy and bubba. But the problem is that there already are two killers with invisibility powers, and one is a traversal power while the other is a chase power. Which doesn’t really leave a lot of room for a unique invisibility power. Also for his plasma caster there isn’t much room for an ability either because if they make it a ranged damage attack then it can either be like huntresses or the unknowns which also doesn’t really leave room for a unique power. And also it’s probably way easier to come up with a unique power for vecna than it is predator just because there’s like a million spells in dnd which doesn’t make it hard to pick out four unique ones, but with predator most things we’ve seen him do in the movies are things that are extremely similar to dbd killers powers.
@@BannedGaming-jc4ic " two killers with invisibility powers", there's even more. there's four, and depeding on if you coun't undetectable as stealth too or not it goes higer. we got onryo, wraith, spirit and chucky as actual invisibility (so, four, not two), and then ghostface and pig (and maybe myers if you count his tier 1 and small terror radius in tier 2) and skull merchant with on demand undetectable status.
I do think we are covered on invisibility honestly, predator would be too much of a mush of wraith, singularity and skull merchant....he could work of course, and merely because of the license we know it would probably do decent, but i rather see something diferent.
And i'm gonna be honest, billy and bubba are different sure, but they never shook off that feeling of billy just being dbd's bubba, even though his kit is more original than bubba's. hell, they both can be summarized as the "instadown chainsaw guys" even if i know that doesn't describe everything about them, it has some really high overlap.

agreed, the jason universe and multiversus situations pretty much entirely carry jason's likeliness to come into DBD, and they do so in a BIG way
35 will be Jason. The licensing for Tommy or Crystal lake is still a sticky situation. A lot of people are dismissing this too easily. Licensing adult Jason through horror inc will be easy (see multiversus)

For survivor, I honestly think it could be Frank West. They seem to be putting a huge emphasis on killing a bunch of zombies, and Capcom has already worked with BHVR, and he obviously fits the description perfectly. He is the zombie genocider after all. For the solo killer, I think it’s probably be Predator. It makes perfect sense. A year after Alien, similar to Wesker.

Considering the original chapter is in December, meaning a Christmas chapter, maybe it’s something like the Krampus that’s a Christmas terror. Another possibility is it’s something to tie into the Casting of Frank Stone game, since it would make some sense for them to tie the two together by having Frank become a killer in DBD. Although I don’t know when the game is releasing.
For a lone survivor character that really embodies the meaning of the word survivor, what about Richard Kimble from the Fugitive series? Or Wilson from Don’t Starve? Or the protagonist or Naoya from Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor? To me the hint hints at a survival game protagonist instead of a horror game protagonist.

Would be cool, but sadly very unlikely, since F13 franchise and Jason are two different licenses. F13 franchise belongs to New Line Cinema and Jason belongs to Jason Universe/Horror Inc.
That was also the problem JgtH and Jason X had. That's why they didn't have Friday the 13th in their name and we don't get any returning characters in that movies (they wanted Tommy in part 9, but didn't get the license for the franchise).
So BHVR would have to get two licenses from different license holders for a full F13 chapter and sadly New Line Cinema doesn't seem to want to cooperate with anyone atm.

and yeah i 100% agree predator and jason fit way more for full chapters, but my main argument for them is we have all but confirmation we're getting the characters at some point, so even though they don't fit too well for a paragraph, they're still much more likely than characters like springtrap and slenderman imo sheerly because we know they're happening
even though slenderman and springtrap have a lot going for them, we don't know BHVR wants to do those chapters
and they have done something similarly before with pinhead; kirsty cotton was pretty much a perfect pick for a survivor (afaik, i don't know shit about the franchise lol), but we only got a killer paragraph anyway
the license holders could also force BHVR into doing a paragraph in one way or another, or say somehow with how fucked friday the 13th's licensing is, they only get the rights to jason voorhees but nothing else from the friday the 13th franchise

hard disagree, guessed numerous things that turned out to be right about the chapter
town map (greenville), gothic girl survivor (sable), killer is humanoid/alien (definitely vaguely humanoid and being an alien is one of the options listed in its lore), multiple characters like legion (legion is multiple characters through cosmetics, unknown has skins transforming them into different people through cosmetics), cosmetics would be 2 girls 1 guy (base look is a guy, 2 skins transforming them are girls, not counting recolors)
and even ignoring all of that, there's absolutely no denying they guessed alan wake, saga anderson legendary skin, D&D chapter with vecna as a killer, and a castlevania chapter after it, all of which we know to be 100% true

His default/only weapon is a kitchen knife in specifically one of the four-five FNAF continuities (unless you count Peanutheads bone-shiv), and his only powers are half-possessing other robots sometimes, which, I guess could be something, but would add him up to be Myers with Nemesis zombies at best. i said this before a while ago, but i think, if anything, FNAF would be TOO much for dead by daylight
because they've tried to actively stay away from child murder, and you literally cannot have fnaf without child murder
sure it's not super graphic in terms of visuals, but it doesn't have to be
imo a story that can still be decently terrifying without a bunch of gore is much more impressive than some horror stories that just shove gore in your face and call it a day (though you can absolutely have both a good story and a lot of gore, i.e. the boys)
