Berghain: Don't look uncomfortable
Also Berghain: Don't smile or look happy
also wie immer. keine ahnung was daran so schwer ist
Why are you punished for being happy to be there?
Should I look angry?
@@giovanne2143 Because that's pathetic. Make them happy that you're there.
@@Wellch No
whatching this instead of researching scientific papers on the german techno scene for my cultural studies seminar at uni.....
The more i watch these berghain video's, the more i start to feel these cult like vibes
Wait so are you supposed to look the bouncer in the eyes or not? I
Unless you are scared, dubious or not comfortable with the overall vibe you obviously look them in the eye. You belong. You are part of the Berghain mesh. You look them in the eyes. So yeah, if you ask yourself this question, better not go.
Luffy Uzumaki what a pretentious thrash attitude
@@Josh-mon totally
@@Josh-mon He is right tho. What kind of stupid insecure question is that?
People who ask these kinda questions usually mean that those people dont want to go for the techno but just to have been there..
Look, not stare
and when i go to the line again ..are they will be also picky again with the entrance ? or just i show them the stamp and that's it ?
I like your video bro ! Thank you and keep going :)
I was there this September, can't confirm this though, cuz I left when everything was over
always look the bouncer in the eyes... and pee into their mouths.. lol
well, at the CTM festival you could buy online tickets for Berghain
Me, a chilean, when I read "CTM". I just couldn't stop laughing 🤣
The re-entry line IS still in the guestlist queue, as it was before. Ive had a few friends go recently and confirm this.
Well it wasn't the case when i went two weeks ago, happened also to a friend of mine, the bouncer said that from now on the second line is only for guest list and DJ friends :/
@@RadicalLiving hopefully that's nothing permanent as that makes no damn sense
It makes a lot of sense, they want u to stay…. And consume
I was just there a two weeks ago (thanks for the video!)
They had a separate line for re-entry that was much shorter, but you couldn’t walk right in.
Are you saying the re-entry line is now gone too?
Well it wasn't the case when i went two weeks ago, had to go to the normal line again, happened also to a friend of mine, the bouncer said that from now on the second line is only for guest list and DJ friends :/ I hope it is not going to stay like that.
Hello, great channel! Been in Berlin since Tuesday now and ended up at a few clubs on Wednesday and Thursdays, one of them which is called Golden Gate. I speak average German, but they always know i'm a foreigner. Had my own "equipment" so didn't ask anyone for anything... I immediately noticed that there were 3-4 guys that were giving me extremely aggressive body language, and elbow pushing me at times... I didn't understand... Then when my molly started working and my eyes started rolling, some guys and girls asked me where I got it from. I didn't see almost anyone rollong in molly. Is there a reason why? Are these people not allowed in Berghain or something so they go there? I received a very nice reception from the staff, but many guys inside were not eager to have a foreigner dancing among them... the girls on the other hand, quite interested. Very strange cockblocking that I have never experienced in my life before
What a shame about certain Berlin nightlife. Having to wear particular thing or act a certain way to get into a club destroys the whole idea of techno music. It's supposed to be for everyone regardless of what you look like and where you're from. Went to Griessmuehle and didn't get in which I don't mind cos I was bored on a Sunday afternoon and just fancied a little groove. But they didn't let in a women who's friends were inside already and she was on holiday. So they left a woman by herself in the cold on holiday all for their pretentious door policy, pretty heartless for the techno vibe. And the people are so isolated and unfriendly inside, what a surprise! However I had an amazing time at hoppetosse with great people, not too serious and just out for a good time.
Says one until he gets into Berghain :)
u dont like that? go freeparties. Simple as that.
@@IgorKovr exactly
I agree with you so so much...
What I love about techno parties the most (besides the music itself) is, the variety of people that I am celebrating with... no matter their age, gender, ethnicity, clothing or coolness factor!
Everyone is welcome as long as they are friendly!
Not interested to get into Berghain at all!
I went these last two weeks and always to go back through the guest list line, maybe just was bad luck to you and your friend
Do they avtually search you thoroughly? I totally would have thought that people are taking heaps of stuff in there
You should make a video about the current club situation in berlin. I am from Romania and come in berlin about 1 time a month for a rave and this pandemic is killing me
Love the video! I'm planning on moving to Berlin soon :) Is there any way I could contact you ?
Interesting because I heard about it from a Joe rogan video with ari shaffir about this club, but he forgot his name
Same
Wait so SHOULD I look the bouncer in the eyes or not? That was confusing.
Act like a tough guy, looking others directly in the eye. Don't glare at him as if you want to fight him. Act like you're in the same biker gang together.
does laboratory give stamps for the club? in that case, you don't have to pay to get into berghain?
no. usually they're separated clubs
in the Lab-Oratory you get a number with a marking pen once in and if you want to move to Berghain then you can stand at the guestlist line and show it them not doing the regular queue and selection, you have to pay the Berghain entry though.
Can you do a video of all the rumors regarding Berghain?
What rumours specifically?
They are all true
Can you please give us a 2021 update? When are things going to open up again post covid?
Probably in the end of 2022
Its really sad
@@jjjj_lila end of 22? End of 21 earliest, spring 22 latest
MrElectricSkittles well it looks like it’s certainly not going to be in 2021. Europe is getting slammed with another covid wave and are behind on vaccines.
I was originally thinking spring-summer 2022 and that still looks likely to me. I’m hoping for my next Euro trip to be in july-august next year... fingers crossed this shit gets reopened
Meanwhile me on raves in Ukraine - yellow-happy-as-f* raincoat over a shirt made of a blanket fabric. If club value is in some part to be a place to be comfortable and expressive - don't care about getting in a place that won't make you feel like that. No offence to Berghain, just the advice I found the most valuable.
Right that's all good and well but do I buy gear inside or bring it with me
Ikr they search you thoroughly but dunno how lenient they’ll be with it😂
Bring it with you... Just be sure to hide it well. Never tried buying inside.
There are very few parties with online tickets. I just went this weekend, Hospital Productions label, 22€. Still, I heard they can reject you and refund the money back XD was not very wild, but fun as always
I wonder where they search you at
Can someone explain to me the "Don't look in the eyes"-rule? I don't get it.
Look them in the eye. If you're questioning whether you should then you really shouldn't be attempting to get in.
It‘s not true. Once you were in, you can line up at the guest list / re-entry line again, which is way shorter than the regular one
Well the bouncer explained it differently to us (two weeks ago). Also another friend of mine got told to go to the normal line again and that the second line is for guest list and DJ friends only :/
I went three weeks ago and lined up for re entry several times at GL line :) (so did everyone else)
I was there 2 weeks ago and didn't have to wait in the normal line :) you go directly to the gl line and pay 5 euros xd
@@tamaravilla704 but you where on the list probably ?
95 Prototype you just go to the gl to re-entry lol
What does he means with "Do they search ppl at the door?" I am confusion.
like pockets or bags for a safety reasons
@@olga9332 Mostly weapons AND drugs. They don;t want to attract drug sellers coming in with a big ol bag of extasy and using the club a business store front.
Life Hack: Man spart die Hälfte der Zeit beim Zubinden der Schuhe, wenn man sich einen Fuss abhackt.
I would wear my squirrel fursuit with lederhosen!
I am just curious are the owners of Berghain paying u for doing ads. If not then they should do.😂
I am a woman and like to wear like black lace dress's and short skirts and throw a red flower in my hair with matching 5 inch stilettos. Is that kind of outfit acceptable to get in.
He said to avoid high heels. The flower could be perceived as too cheerful. Dress and act like a vampire or a dominatrix, and you'll get in.
Es gibt ja zum Glück noch andere Clubs in Berlin als das Berghain und das Matrix. Man muss also nicht gleich ins Matrix gehen, wenn man nicht gefragt werden möchte, ob man Urin anderer Leute im Mund okay findet...
thats not true lol they sell tickets for CTM events and everybody gets in.
Should I look into the bouncer's eyes? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wtf are people nervous about? Bouncers are just people, do what you want its just a club ffs
Once upon a time, in the vibrant city of Berlin, there stood the world-renowned Berghain Club-a temple of electronic music and a beacon for those seeking an extraordinary experience. However, a cautionary tale emerged from a night where chaos reigned supreme, fueled by a batch of treacherous ecstasy tablets known as “Grey Barrels.”
Rumors spread like wildfire about these mysterious pills. They promised a trip so intense, so mind-altering, that ravers couldn’t resist their allure. Unbeknownst to them, these Grey Barrels were not what they seemed. They contained a heady mix of MDMA, MDA, MDEA, 2-CB, ketamine, and LSD -a potent concoction that would push the boundaries of sanity and safety.
Eager for an experience beyond their wildest dreams, ten unsuspecting ravers ventured into Berghain with the Grey Barrels hidden in their pockets. As the night unfolded, the pills took hold, thrusting them into a nightmarish journey they never could have anticipated.
Under the strobe lights, the ravers’ perception shattered. Colors morphed into grotesque shapes, and sounds became distorted and dissonant. Reality unraveled before their eyes, luring them into a twisted realm of hallucinations and paranoia.
One by one, they succumbed to the sinister effects of the Grey Barrels. Laughter erupted uncontrollably as inhibitions melted away. Giggling and stumbling, they shed their clothes, feeling a bizarre childlike freedom. Their speech devolved into incoherent babbling, as if they were trapped in an infantile state of mind.
The chaos they unleashed couldn’t be ignored. The club’s security, filled with a heavy sense of responsibility, intervened, removing the ten ravers from Berghain. They were banned for life, their chances of ever reentering the temple of music shattered. Their actions had desecrated the sanctuary. As the ravers slowly returned to their senses, shame and regret engulfed them. They were left with haunting memories of their foolishness, forever marked by their misguided quest for an extraordinary high. The Grey Barrels had taken them to the edge and back, leaving scars that extended far beyond their bodies.
The legend of the Grey Barrels spread, forever serving as a chilling reminder to all who heard it. It became a symbol of the perils of chasing illusions and surrendering to substances that could shatter lives. Berghain continued to thrive, but the story of the ten ravers endured as a stark warning to future generations-a warning of the abyss that lies beyond the allure of shortcuts to ecstasy.
And so, the tale of the Grey Barrels etched itself into the collective memory of Berlin’s nightlife. It served as a somber reminder that true transcendence cannot be found in a pill, but in the cultivation of self-awareness, responsibility, and a genuine connection to the music and the people around us. May this cautionary tale resonate, guiding those who venture into the night to choose their path wisely and remember the power they hold in their hands.
i think you are 100% hetero sexual (like basically everybody in berghain), but you are very smart to act a bit gay, and i think thats a good advice.
Berhain. Best techno club on earth !
I just wing it. Watching these kind of videos just gives me anxiety hah
lve tried 87 times to get in to Berghain , been unsuccessful every time
i know a girl who had the same issue, after dozens of failed attempts she shaved her eyebrows off, the next time she got in 😅
lol I've been there in 2007 and to be honest I had no idea it was this hard to get in. Back then I did very little queue and if I don't remember wrong I wasn't even searched. I showed up at about 9 in the evening and there was still daylight. I don't remember how I was dressed but probably just casual trousers and a random t-shirt because I came there after a full day walking around Berlin without coming back to my hostel. Actually before getting in I was the one who wasn't that certain if I really wanted to because in the queue there were only men that looked like a weird mix of nazi-gay-punks and no girls at all. When I got in though it was an absolute blast. I had never seen anything like that before. I felt like it was only people who really didn't care about anything except dancing like crazy and I was just one of them lol . and btw girls eventually came... actually a lot of them even at the 10 am in the morning, and by taxi lol. I'd be curious to know how it is today but I wouldn't take a 5 hours queue to get rejected for sure ;D
Is it worth it this berghain?? What ever happens inside there? Is it gay exclusive? 😊
Zac and Jay?
Are u guaranteed reentry if u have a stamp, or they simply turn down stamppl too?
No more stamps. Now there are wristbands and + 5 euro for re-entry.
to answer your question: I haven‘t seen anyone in the re-entry line who got rejected. Afterall, it doesn‘t matter if they use a stamp or a wristband. The idea is the same...
NO
@@Godfragtbh but wristband is a bit gay, like on some gay festival no? At least i hope the wristband is black. Lol
Zgermud, them turds in my pants boiii! gay / lgbtq culture literally created and keep the techno scene alive. so yeah it’s probably gay but guess what, so we are, so it’s ok.
Dieser vollidiot: can I get in?
Sven: NEIN!!
Can I have my security inside the club?
Most likely not
1:13 furerly?? i dont get the word

Immer noch cool

1:17 just answer bro
Dont you guys have any issues with lawsuits against clubs in Germany? Subjective critereas for letting people in places can be used for racist acts for example. Haven't anyone accused any any club at all of racism, homophobia (Not gay clubs) or whatever?
No, clubs are very selective without getting in trouble for it. Besides, they have various races and genders inside the clubs anyway.
Get into the Matrix…red pill…blue pill
cringe, wie die Jugend sagt
