The Dead South should already be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! The musical instrumentation is beyond what most bands create in a lifetime and their vocals are something that comes only once in a lifetime. Thank you for making music that touches our souls.
I was introduced to this band by a service man installing fiber optic internet at my resident ...he introduced me to them and I was delighted to know they were from The Canadian west ...great music Dead South!
Love this song. I'm also partial to "Banjo Odyssey", "Diamond Ring" and "Lord, Take Me Home", I think. It's the prayer of a Confederate soldier. Nate did a turn with Trampled by Turtles, and another song I like, "Codeine". ✌️🐱

String Summit was just canceled this year, and didn't happen last year, so when I saw the String Summit stage flash across the screen in this video my eyes teared up.

Really hope they swing round Belgium again. They did before but i wasn't in a position to spend the cash. Glad to say i'm doing a bit better these days and would love to get another chance of seeing this brilliant band. Don't really know what to make of it but i hope to see Danny deserving to standi there. One of the best band i discovered in years.

I drove 10 hours to see them in Toronto and was well worth it. Had tickets to see them in the caverns, this past spring, hopefully this year.
