The speed comes from the use of my hands as instruments of art and the ability to use them digitally. I've seen fast work on Maya and Blender and Z Brush but my speed and skill doesn't transfer. In VR it does and it started a great foundation for learning 3D. Now I am playing with Zbrush and non-VR tools. Did you ever get into VR?
Pretty awesome. I want to use the quest and gravity sketch to modell and setting up my scene in blender. -so u got a new subscriber sir. Would be awesome to see how you export an obj from the quest.
Thanks Julian, in Gravity Sketch I believe there is an export option. I'll have to double check later about the Quest version but for much of this experimentation, I used SideQuest's file manager to locate the obj/scene/asset and dragged it to my desktop.

If I export I got the hole objects as one object. AND also all faces are separated. They are on the place where they belong, but if I grab one and move it- its a single face. Maybe do u have any suggestions about that? I Am using blender and find kind of a solution, but if the single objects intersect, it won't will work out. have a nice day, Julian

As for the Quest two, its so late in it's release cycle that I'm kinda just waiting for Cambria. I kind of feel burnt that FB made the Quest and like 2 weeks later dropped Quest 2.

For the stuff inside the Quest there is an option somewhere in the sharing panel that lets you record and then you xfer that file by connecting it to the PC and digging into the folder system. It's been awhile but I may have had to use SideQuest to access the folder system...I'd say try connecting with the USB3 and look for the video folder. The screen shot stuff, I used Nvidia screen recorder or Windows capture (win + G).
@@xr_artist actually it feels like the right joystick doesn't do anything. It had me going through a tutorial first, but at one point it felt like the tutorial didn't have anywhere for me to go 🤷♂️ I think I'll end up returning it and sticking to gravity sketch.
Quixel Bridge and Mixer (separate programs from the same place). If you have an Epic Games account (like for Unreal Engine), you can use that account to sign into Quixel and you get everything in Quixel for free, including unlimited downloads of their assets, materials etc.

What's good Amari, still living and doing good. I dumped my socials and couldn't use my quest for a while but seems to work now. I have a small tequila biz and a day job and a kid so the only time I get to use quest is when I'm traveling for work these days and killing time in the hotel room. Next trip scheduled 8/6 so bringing my Quest and dropping an Ancient Cities vid for my boy LUke in the comments. Don't crucify me if it doesn't happen but I got 6 weeks out there and if it doesn't get done I'll smack myself.

Have you ever had a problem where you can't change the brush size in tilt brush for quest?
