Sooo glad this video was helpful mama. If you think it's a stalling tactic, I'd give them a few extra seconds (without saying anything) and then say, "Alright, time to wash hands (grab hand gently) and say, "I'll help you bud." Keep it light, silly, and get excited about hand washing, lol. Such a great question! Hope to see you in class :)

Thank you for this video! My daughter is going through her first major regression after doing so well, and I've realized that I'm having a hard time with my own feelings about it. I have been too emotionally invested in her success. I needed to take a step back and get my head back on straight to help her through this next stage of the learning process.

Half of it is definitely training ourselves. I will buy your book as well. Little one has a speech delay, and it is mostly training me as a mom!

Oh my goodness, thank you for this, definitely helpful. My son is on the later side on potty training we have had lots of set backs, sensory issues, constipation since birth that is finally getting better. I will definitely be using these tips!

Thanks, this was indeed super helpful! Definitely guilty of saying "it's OK" 😂 My daughter is currently in the potty training process and she often flat out refuses to sit on the potty, no matter how I address it. Then literally 2 minutes later there is an accident. Any tips what we can do about this?

Thank you so much for this! I wish I would have watched your video a week ago. I have totally been doing 1-4 and have been dealing with major potty refusal. I finally threw in the towel today on Day 7. Is there an optimal time to pick back up once you stop mid training (assuming child is refusing the potty, but showing all the other signs on your checklist)?

  • @brendaandrandyking4126

My daughter moved in here we ith us in march she bought two potties and that was it .....she shows no sign of ever encouraging or helping to potty train them leaving it up to me but i feel like they want her

  • @elizabethcaroljohnson1048

My toddler is peeing so often. She will still on the potty and get up all excited because she went then she will sit down right away after and pee again and she will do this 2 or 4 times. It's always only a small amount. How do I get her to empty her bladder so that we aren't going as frequently?
