Despite all the statements about the inability of the Ukrainian army, Ukraine and the Ukrainians repelled that attack and liberated a considerable part of the captured territories. However, after the liberation of the territories, Ukrainians, like the whole world, saw the horrors that the russian army left behind: many shot up houses, open minefields, streamers on children's playgrounds and in children's toys, and many bodies of civilians, who were often killed painfully and cruelly.
Ukrainians are still fighting for the independence and unity of their country and their people.
