    Thanks zir lakas po malaking tulong po to sa mga nag seself review habang palapit na schedule ng board exams. Ask lang pala sir pano pala madedetermine kung gagamit ka ng washer or cylindrical method? Kc parang almost same ang question nung sa washer and cylindrical salamat po sa makakasagot. God bless.

    hindi ba shell method gagamitin sa sample number 3, since parallel yung rotating axis at yung vertical strip.

    Hello, Sir! I have a question regarding the 1st example, why did it become [4x] po? I mean, why did you divide the 8 by 2? Hope you'll notice this. Thank you!

      I think he just simplified it, since 8x²/2 can also be 4x². But you can still arrive at the same answer if you stay at 8x²/2.

      It is actually the integral of 8x. The exponent of x is 1, 1+1 is 2 that's why we need to divide it by 2 and it become 8x² / 2 or 4x².

    Sir sabi niyo po may exception sa disc at other two methods, bakit yung axis of rotation sa washer method ay x axis, bakit dx pero sabi niyo dapat dy?

      di ako sure pero Xright - Xleft yun kapag kukunin mo area so horizontal yung strip nya tas kapag ni rotate mo sya about the x axis magiging parallel ang strip kaya ginamitan ng shell

    hi po sir. ask ko po sana. Pano ma lalaman if yung lower limit is magiging 0 lang? kc minsan po sa questions walang naka sabi na eto first quadrant lng. Ganto po yung tanong, "Find the volume of the solid generated when the area bounded by the curve y^2=x, the x-axis, and the line x=2 revolved about the x-axis." (use shell method). Ganyan po huhu
