I'm a 66 year old white man that lives in Florida, I have watched several of the dance challenge videos , mainly because I really like the song , and I just watched another , but for some reason I got so emotional by the end of the song, I have tears running down my cheeks, without understanding a single word, or knowing what language it was, I just love the music
Same reaction , no idea what is it saying, but the very fact that people all over the planet took it and spontaneously started to dance like we are all one nation, that was so above the captivating rhythm, tears run into my eyes , but it feels somehow warm around my heart. I guess it gives us a new hope and a chance to believe in mankind again?

Covid has left many of us bereft. We need something to give us hope. The idea of "home", where we are safe and comforted appeals to many of us, hence the popularity. Seeing the energy that the dancers bring is also good.
It is because of the word Jerusalema.....Jerusalem will be the center of this whole world as the King of Kings will reign from there soon.....for 1000 years.

This song united the world in dance during a viral pandemic, when there were so many challenges, so much suffering. Everybody knew and loved it, including me.
Pandemic? It's was a global satanic shutdown. Yeah people suffered.. all part ot the big movie.
I am a 71 year old women living in Texas. I accidently came across one of the challenges and the song just pulled me in. I had to find out more and came to this site to learn about the song and how the challenge all got started. The song stays with me. It is spiritual. Thank you for such a beautiful piece of music.

The first time I heard this song I completely fell in love with it! When I heard it for the first time, all I could understand was Jerusalema. I needed to search for this song! When i found the song again kept on listening to the song not underatanding anything but the one word. I don't know why I didn't bother to look for the lyrics until today and although it's a very simple song it put to tears.
