What worked from me was gradual decreases in my intake, i started saying no to invitations, i watched tons of videos from former alcoholics:how they did it, that really helped me. Once you quit drinking what is left is a void so had to replace this old habit with a new habit. In all i give God all the glory,the chains have been broken!

The exact reason i did quit alcohol 31st Dec 2018... Mum asked "pombe hunisaidia nini" and from that day i haven't had a taste of it and i don't miss it at all.
You have along way to go. Stay sober for atleast 2yrs ndio uanze kuongea about quitting. Relapse happens because of pressure. Stay private as you rehabilitate
But if you keep saying you quite for sure the mind will get use to it,I stopped by the help of therapy the first 3weeks was hell withdrawals are hell but I thank God 8months free
