  • The issue of money in a marriage is a primary source of conflict and worry, so much so that this conflict often leads to collapse. How can a married couple handle their finances so the marriage relationship isn't damaged? Using an example of the apostle Paul's plan to raise funds for the Jerusalem church, let's get some solid pointers on the believer's (and hence believing couples') relationship to finances. Like it or not, money matters.
This teaching is from our series Smart Home with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.

    Excellent!
GOD has to be in the equation, and HE is "The source!" We were great with our finances when I was. married;lived as if we had one income, and enjoyed the "extras" of life. However, GOD wasn't in it. I love your instruction. There isn't anything on anyone's shelves outside of my needs that I have to have. If I won the lottery today, I've learned so much until you would be hard pressed to figure out that my "money changed!" Yes, great instruction!!!!

Kansaspeach how wasn’t God in it? He created marriage.
“Furthermore it has been said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery.”
