  • Pasefika Proud is proud to launch this series - Migration and Legacy stories of our Pacific fathers. This story features Etipasi Daniells-Silva who migrated from Samoa in 1958 with dreams of becoming a “film star”. New Zealand was a strange place at first but he made his way, raised a family and his legacy lives on through his children and the people whose lives he touched. His advice is simple, follow your dreams. Credit: Historic footage supplied by Nga Taonha Sound & Vision and Archives New Zealand.
