It may not be as easy to see on person, but on video there is a clear difference. As legit checkers there are all sorts of tools that can help, I think taking video of them side by side could be an interesting way to see the difference in the materials

all of the legit checking apps can verify stitching much easier than the human eye can. these videos are meant for things you can verify in person. if all it comes down is the stitching youre better off using legit app anyway
