Hearing vintage and shrek in the same sentence just aged me 80 years, ty
That five below shrek LOOKS like a knockoff with those lips 😂
Honestly I’ve seen knock-off Shrek figures with better headsculpts! No idea how this one got past the licensing department.
The toxicity of the Shrek cups from McDonalds was because of the cadmium in the yellow/orange paint (the Puss In Boots one, which had a lot of orange, was particularly bad from what I've read) the cups did not have lead paint. That aside, this was a cool video, and I think you're the best up and coming toy channel right now.
I agree with your sister, I think that Shrek doll is cursed haha. Remember Chucky had a lot of damage and it wasn't because he was played with and beloved lol. Despite it's demonic nature, it's genuinely a cool doll lol, shows creepy isn't always bad!
The Shrek Funko pops were actually released in 2016 not 2010
I bought the claw machine donkey plush at goodwill for a dollar and it has become my dogs favorite toy in the world. She usually tears into a plush in a day; it’s been a month and there’s only a few tiny holes in it.
The Five Below figure looks strangely similar to a small Shrek figurine I have (I believe it was a keychain or kinder surprise egg toy) but upscaled and worse paint believe it or not. I have Shrek, Human Fiona and Ogre Fiona. So crazy how these old sculpts are still being used today!
That’s pretty interesting. I wouldn’t be surprised if they just upscaled that exact figure. This one was clearly done in the cheap.
10:17 Surprised you still have the Shrek 4 glasses, since it’s like owning a Shrek-branded Radioactive plutonium rod.
When they chisel the tombstone I'll have it say "Death by Shrek 4 Fiona Glass" lmao
it never ends love to see more shrek!
Been loving the videos lately , I always learn something new about shrek memorabilia!
Thank you! That's the goal!
Legendary collection, dude! Love all the zootopia stuff too UwU
Thanks! I've collected pretty much all the 2016 Zootopia toys, limited as they were! I'm hoping the sequel gives us some more good stuff.
Yes I needed me some Cursed Shrek 😬
I envy your collection!
Thank you! I dub it...the Shrekllection lol
I was still a young kid at the time the glasses got recalled and I got a gingy watch and that toy of donkey with a waffle in his mouth instead. Only recently I discovered the shrek glass at an antique store
Yeah the watches were used as replacements. Definitely prefer the glasses. Too bad they’re poisonous ☠️
@@austin_the_brimstone I actually love the designs and artwork on them I think they're really pretty too but it's a shame
@@bionabot Funnily enough Universal Studios is selling new Shrek drinking glasses that somewhat resemble these. The artwork is similar, although these ones are more like “beer” glasses. I have no idea why they would produce these given the optics but I’m definitely going to try to pick them up.
@@austin_the_brimstone oo thank you for telling me! I never knew abt that
You seem to be the shrek aficionado to ask, while watching the video I suddenly remembered a food product i had of shrek (cant remember if you've done a video on shrek food product but that would be a good one)
I remember these Sherk tokens you could cut out of the back of a food box, cereal, treats for the life of me I cant specifically remember.
But if you collected enough of these tokens you could send them in for a reward.
After some Google image searching I couldn't find any evidence of what I remember but I know these things existed, let me know if you happen to know what I'm talking about will ya.
Very interesting, I have no clue. 🤔 The closest thing I can think of are the Shrek Quest Tokens from the UK, but those weren’t cardboard but rather real metal coins.
@@austin_the_brimstoneupon further research i did find these eggo cinnamon sticks that have a token to cut out for a mail in price but these tokens are green with shreks face.
The ones i remember had the shrek logo and brown and orange background so thats not it.
If you ever do a video shrek food products maybe you can solve this mystery.
@@RidleyCinema Definitely something I can look into!
