@@pipersisk3966 it's the world being turned over to the young and if you would look up the songs they are actually songs of empowerment, just because it may not be a style of music you like is no reason to put it down either. I may be 59 but I value all music (even polka which to be honest I could care less if I ever heard again) but I remember my dad saying words that were similar or with that same inflection in his voice especially about Pink Floyd, Queen, BOC, Kiss and many more. To be honest it was a nice change of pace from some guy country singer.
Kamala is in a southern state featuring artists like quavo from migos who is from Atlanta. She's appealing to black men and women who listen to quavo and megan, young black voters who maybe haven't historically voted. Trump has kid rock who is an entitled rich white guy who cosplays as a hillbilly.
She's demonstrating that she's not out of touch and connecting with her constituents through music.
It doesn't take much critical thinking to understand why she chose BLACK artists in a Southern state, specifically atlanta, where the Black population is greater than any other demographic.

I'm a married with kids 59 year old Crone cat lady and I'm voting for Harris, my husband is voting for Harris, our 33 year old daughter is voting Harris and our 31 year old son is voting Harris. My daughter deserves to have the rights I did. I was 8 when Roe was passed, I was already in my 50s when the SC unjustly took those rights away. I grew up by the Mississippi and Missouri rivers and I don't want to see them trashed again. I want my grandkids to have a real chance at life. I want a world for them where they can thrive not just survive. We have been just surviving for to long.
