Many people appreciate the little pause, and for a reason, it's really kickass, BUT my favorite bit is when they DON'T do the same pause at the final verse. The two together feel like something has turned unstoppable throughout the song.

I know this comment is old as balls, but I just realized one thing:
A lot of fans don't realize the little pause is to simulate an old, poor quality vinyl disc. These kinds of pauses were common due to wear and tear. And of course the pause doesn't repeat, because the disc wouldn't be damaged on both tracks.
The pause definitely should've occurred in the final verse

i have fought and won battles that no single player should be able to win thanks to this song.
I have solo'd Hive Onslaught on advanced solo, I have destroyed some of the most powerful players in PvP, I have won the Battle of Korfez, fought the Tzenkethi in near the event horizon of a microquasar, defeated the borg on their own terf and dominated the Iconians to this song.
It just makes massive battles feel epic and brings me a rare form of joy that few other things bring me.

This... isn't actually the villain. This is the /hero/. The /villain's/ plans involve portals into the 13th hell dimension and approximately elder gods, not just universal warfare.

I know the obvious comparison is Warhammer 40k, but I can't help drawing parallels to Destiny as well. I mean, "Solar Gun" and "Nova Bombs"?
Granted that's all fairly common sci-fi terminology, but that's what makes Gloryhammer fun. It fits with almost any universe outside its own, because Gloryhammer just uses _every trope it can_ and it's FANTASTIC.
