A real Lego museum!!
It’s been FOREVER since I’ve watched that movie, and I have to say when I saw some of your in progress photos on Instagram, it triggered old memories of Lex’s lair….I think you did a great job with this one. That pool is such a great recreation of the one in the movie. I do miss the mech, but it looks good without also 😂
Thank you Steve, yeah it is a great movie. It brings back lots of fond memories growing up. I will be using the mech, it’ll just be in Lex corp when I build that.
This turned out so good! And you seemed to be able to MOC it up so quickly! Excellent work. 👍👏
Thank you
It turned out like in museum!
I love all the underground rooms you’ve done. It’s like a window to another world each time. I could spend hours just looking into each one and still want to spend hours more.
Thank you Simon. I will admit, I’ve really enjoyed making them.
That's a lot of hideouts! It's looking really nice with all the small (and not so small) scenes.
Thank you 👍🏻, nearly filled them all now.
Great stuff. I'm so impressed at what you've done in bringing the underground part of your city to life.
Great update The City looks really good have a great weekend mate 😃 The underground looks really good 😃
Using the 1978 movie as inspiration for this hideout is brilliant... It would be a great idea for Lego to make classic movie sets for DC, as they appear to have lost their way with the licence.
Sets based on Reeve's movies and the Burton Batman movies would be fantastic.
Thank you, your right I’d love to see some more DC sets, Lego seem to be being some good marvel sets out. I’d love to see a daily Bugle type building.
Sets and minfigs taken directly from the Reeve Superman and the Burton (and even the much-maligned Schumacher) Batman movies would be my dream come true.
@@jarvbricks7422 Honestly, the Daily Planet is always drawn as a much nicer building than the Bugle and would have made a much nicer Lego set... the Wayne Foundation building from the 1970s too would be a great looking build... sadly the MCU is popular at the moment and Lego are cashing in!
@@GregOrCreg Definitely - think it would be a clever way for Lego to make the most of their DC licence.
@@dazblue5515 It makes me sad that Lego didn't have all these licences back in the 80s and 90s when my favourite superhero films (i.e. the Superman and Batman movies) were being released. I wonder if the nostalgia factor is strong enough to justify such sets now.
Absolutely love the underground scenes for the batman rogues, lexs lair looks great too just like the movie
Thank you Bryant 👍🏻
His hideout looks great, keep up the good work. I hope everyone is having a nice day.
Thank you
@@jarvbricks7422 your welcome
Great work. I love that open look you gave it. Large and grand, very Lex Luther
Thank you Alfred. 👍🏻
Wow what a lot of underground activitys. But I love how you made them 👍
Thank you 👍🏻
As usual.... a fantastic job replicating the essence of it.... Seeing it on video now just blows me away even more than your instagram shots. Very VERY impressive, once again! :D
Thank you BB. 👍🏻 I hate coming to an end of a project, and thinking what to do next
Hello Matt 👋
interested to what you will do more with the bat cave. anyways ya looks good! i have seen superman 2 and 4 so i got see gene hackmans version of lex luthor. a little comic book/serious/campy version of its time.which worked. good choice for source material for building his underground hideout.
Thank you. Yes I grew up on the reeves/Hackman superman films.
I will be expanding my batcave in the next couple of projects.
