1962 Cadillac pioneered the cornering light...these were signature for Cadillac 62 and all years later.....these were optional on some Buick and Old's better models then ....Ford and Chrysler didnt bother with these in the early 60's models...just a GM thing

Sorry, but the wide whitewalls are not correct! By that model year tires had narrower whitewalls, which prevailed throughout the sixties and seventies.
