The song, If I Never Breathe Again was written about a true story where a young woman is diagnosed with terminal cancer soon after she is engaged. This sing is written from thr nan's perspective. Even though she died, he would " do i\t all again". I guess you know that Dimadh now sings this song at concerts for the Dears. The other song,when You Believe, is from the movie Prince of Egypt. It was famously sung as a duet by the great Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey about 20 years ago.

I really enjoyed this John ,a very young Dimash for sure . To my knowledge Dimash has never kissed any woman on screen for his videos . He has said though “ I’m over twenty of course I have kissed “ then laughed about it . There are hints now though in his upcoming music video “ smoke “there will be a romantic kiss . PhantaCity was a program where they paired a singer with a director, and gave them three days to come up with a script, rehearse the mini musical, then act and edit it live behind stage. That was Dimash’s first foray into acting. As you said, now, he is a veteran of music videos. No, he has never kissed an actress in any video, except close enough to appear as if he did, in the MV for Golden.
A lot of Dears have discussed Dimash acting as James Bond. He would be great, and it would breathe new life into the Bond series for sure.

No, he doesn't kiss. The only kissing he ever does is women's, or children's foreheads/cheeks, & never romantically, on any young woman. At least when he said his mum had told him no kissing, the directors respected that.

The director, crew and actors had 3 days to prepare (that's why we watched Dimash overcome his resistances, learn to fight and... love❤), and then the whole thing was broadcast live!😮 Dimash sang live, fought, cried and... loved live😍 This is not an ordinary MV, it is more like watching a piece of a musical🙂 Mesmerasing🔥 It's amazing how much Dimash has developed as an actor since then, but... Dimash makes us cry just with his voice! Yes he'd be a great actor, he strives so hard for perfection in all that he does, and his natural humility and sweetness always shines through. Even as a vampire he had that sympathetic vibe. He'd make a great villain as well as a great hero, a fascinating peasant and an awesome king. Soooo lovely to see this again. Watched this years ago These were the 1st things I saw Dimash doing long time ago . Thanks for digging it all out. Dimash has always and will be into the future a beautiful humble man. He was v concerned what his parents would think of the acting parts he had to do. Think that might b the influence of family and religion. His family are such a treasure and support him in all he does.

I believe this is the first time I’ve seen a reaction to this entire video with Dimash. I’ve watched this before and I believe it was shortly after the I am Singer launch in 2017…. So probably around 23 years old. Such a respectful and talented young man! There are treatments for all kinds of addiction on this planet. But NO treatment for Dimash addiction. I will try not to listen to Dimash for a week but once he starts that first note, you're in another world. eg. going through his MV's from when he was 5 years old, and be mesmerized 😅. I'm sad but also glad that I can't go to any of his concerts - because I will save every last penny to go to the next one.
When he performed "The Story of One Sky" at his concert (before releasing the magnificent piece of art of the MV), some audience members posted their fan cams quite quickly and as I watched it, I knew I would've been on my knees crying. Have a wonderful, blessed & mesmerizing concert to all of you who go and support him.

Hi John, Good to revisit this again along with a super reaction from yourself. This Chinese TV show involves taking celebrities, not known for their acting and working with a director have to produce a short 15min film. 'If I never breathe again' was a new song for this show, which if I remember correctly was 2018.

I think that within his culture, interactions between the opposite sex are well monitored and strict. Dimash has the utmost respect for everyone, especially women so I'm sure such close contact is unknown and feels strange to him! I'm wondering if his country indorses "arranged Marriages"? I'll have to check it out. It is adorable to see him so shy and innocent.
