Настолько нежное и женственное исполнение, что непроизвольно пробивает до слёз! Вот что нужно слушать хейтерам, которые пишут, что у Дианы грубый низкий голос. Более нежного голоса я не слышала ни у кого из современных певиц. Очень много певиц с высокими голосами, но они какие-то пронзительные ( режут слух), или того хуже - писклявые. Диана может всё, в этом и заключается её уникальность! Петь так, как она, не может никто!

A brilliant reading of a poem by Russian poet Marina Tsvetaeva. This is a very abstract text. A game of associations. It was written in 1916. Phenomenal... it's modern! "I'm walking alone through the city at night. Black poplar. Light in the window. The ringing of a bell on the tower. Autumn leaf on my lips. I'm not me. I'm in your dream. I'm just a shadow."

Interpretation of Diana and Brandon’s song “In a Huge City”: The great Russian poetess Marina Tsvetaeva gave birth (not “wrote”!) poems with a quality of meaning inseparable from the sound of her words in Russian. It is IMPOSSIBLE to understand the meaning of these poems, or rather, these sounds without perceiving their Russian sound (try translating Kipling, or Byron, or Shakespeare into Russian, and then back into English! Try it!). This is exactly what Diana and Brandon are doing in this song - the correspondence of meaning and sounds. This cannot be explained in words: how to add up the sum of meanings and the sound of speech??!! This can only be heard by the soul. To hear, repeated many times, a combination of melody, words and sounds of instruments, the main one of which is Diana’s voice - the most complex of them all. Hence the advice - reproduce in yourself the images given by Marina (night, wind, black poplar, light from the window, ringing from the tower, “And this is the shadow, but not me”, “Friends, understand that you are dreaming of me”) ...and listen, listen, listen to the voice(s) of Diana singing this... And you will enter the door of This universe - through the beauty paved by Diana and Brandon.

I'm a bit surprised by Russian sensibilities. I've been listening to Diana for almost four years. So, I've read many comments from Russians. I like this. But I'm surprised by the trajectory of the views that this is getting. It looks like it will pass "Baikal" very soon.
