When I was younger (58), I had 2 sets of gloves with lead pellets seen into the wrist, and the back of the hand area. One was 4lbs each, the others were 7lbs each. I used to work out on the heavy bag with them, and run with the seven lb. ones on. Within 1 and a half laps, my shoulders would be on FIRE...They're still big at 58 years old.
@@jeffdarnell7942 in my mid 30s and still running with weights too. My weight punches are with 12 and 15 lb dumbbell, the lightest 10, lighter than that my combos would feel too light.
you should do some research on that, 2 pounds is more than enough for dumbbell strikes.

Nothing to talk s*** about that's a very common practice for striking. Once you get used to striking with heavy weights in your hands it makes your punches way faster and more fluid
