    • @PriyaPans
      @PriyaPans Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@kaycollarfeild true. For 41kg to be on the borderline between underweight and healthy, an adult must be 4'11'' or about 150cm tall. So perhaps the commenter is particularly short.
      The healthy weight for that height ranges from approx 42kg-54gs, so depending on health status (menses regularity, body fat % {women need to have a higher body fat % than men}, nutrition, strength, bone strength and mass etc) this could either be a good weight or not too good either. Of course it's wrong to assume. But yes at 41kgs and being 4'1'', someone would be bordering on underweight. Of course if the person is a LOT shorter. Then this weight would then be in the healthy range. As long as a doctor is aware of the weight changes, and as long as person has had bloodwork done to check health. Then fair enough.

    My humble advice for everyone who wants to lose weight long-term is: accept that you will have ups and down along the way. In fact, overeating occasionally is good, because it tells your body that there's no famine going on. As a result, it won't go into panic-mode, a mode which is aimed at you burning as few calories as possible, exactly what you don't want. Symptoms of this panic mode include feeling tired and hungry and not wanting to exercise.
    So happily overeat to stop the panic mode with a frequency of about, say, once a month and then go back to your diet when you're ready (usually in a few days). It is almost certain that the weight loss you've achieved during the weeks before far outstrips the extra calories you ate during that brief spell of binge-eating.
    I just had a binge weekend, eating some 1500 calories too many in two days. After that binge weekend, I happily ate 500 kCal less than my target on both Monday and Tuesday, thus compensating for most of my binge eating almost instantly.

Result: I've lost 13 kg (~28 lb) so far and am still shedding the pounds at a slow but steady rate, while being only 2 kg (~4lb) away from a healthy weight.
    I can't recommend it to everyone, though as it's very numbers based and not everyone has a strong feel for numbers. However, there are apps that do most of the work for you and also give you visual feedback.

      Either for show or he forgot to take it off. I do that sometimes when I get back in the car from grocery shopping and realize I still have my mask on while driving. So next time you see that “crazy” person with the mask on in the car, it could be they simply forgot they have it on. :)

    Mike, at least where I live, you have to have your mask on when you enter the cinema but when you are seated, you can take it off. (And put it on if you go to the toilet/when you leave)

      That’s useless then. No point in requiring masks at all if you don’t wear them the whole time. Though you couldn’t pay me to go to a movie theater right now.

      @@Savannah_Simpson The point of wearing a mask is that you don't get infected or infect anyone else while in close contact, if you sit next to your family member/friend who you know is not, why would you require it? You are still six feet away from everyone else. Oh and it's meant against asymptomatic transmission which can be anybody. (Symptomatic people should be at home anyway)

    If you are going to purchase Atkins products I would like to make a few recommendations. Number one, avoid their brownie bars They are abhorrent. Their peanut M&M knock offs are really good as well as their knock off Snickers bars. As for their ready meals they have a pretty decent pepperoni pizza for a diet nukable meal.

    Atkins isnt a diet you can just skip in and out of the later stages. Later stages gradually increase your carbs, doing that in week one only makes ketosis less likely.
