📙 Backstory:
I wrote "Summer's Wind" in July 2022.

Wow this piece is so beautiful, sweet, and gentle, I'm so happy you chose to share this! What you wrote in measures 44 and beyond blew me away, the Harmony took me by Suprise, the Key Change was tasteful, and the last recapitulation of the Main Theme but with fuller chords was just incredible! The ending is so sincere too, just a lovely piece and I can't wait to hear more of your music!
This is an absolutely beautiful composition. You’re a really underrated composer!
Thanks for the kind words! 🙏
This is absolutely beautiful! Sounds like the wind and falling droplets of rain on a gloomy day.. :)
I love this song, absolutely gorgeous piece that you composed. Very sentimental and beautiful
Hey thanks so much 🙏
It's so sweet! Very gentle and pretty. I love it!❤
Beautiful. Like a distant memory. 😌
Exactly the imagery I was going for! thank you
I get Xenoblade Chronicles vibes from this one. Nice, simple but effective little piece :)
Don't think I've heard this comparison before but I do love the music from those series
Beautiful music! Really getting Ghibli or Xenoblade vibes from this.
I usually get the Ghibli comparison but I don't usually hear of Xenoblade as much. Love the music from there too. Thank you for listening!
I LOVE IT OMGG I think I'm going to try learn it

Really enjoyed it!
Glad you liked it, thanks for listening 😊
You use so many key changes in your music it's cool! I feel like I always get a sort of bittersweet feeling when I listen to your music it's like when the ending's happy but you don't want it to end. This sounds beautiful though :)
Thanks! I really love bittesweet/nostalgic music a lot, a mix of happy and sad is my kind of vibe. I guess we create the kind of things we like 😆
reminds me of a very japanese esque writing. this is simple, yet so effective. well done!
Thank you! Japanese music is one of my favourite genres of all time :)

❤
reminds me of gen 4-6 Pokémon
lovely piece , can you give any advice to someone who also wants to compose a song ?
For me personally I think three things immensely helped me:
-Learning basic theory and how to see it in actual music and also use it to make your own.
-Being able to play all my compositions (so not just writing it down in a notation program)
-And just improvising and experimenting regularly. Whether it's humming, or improv on the piano, or mixing two songs in your head (or on an instrument), or playing by ear.
The third one is actually related to a skill called "audiation" which arguably is the most important skill for a musician, and although some people have it naturally I believe it's something that can be developed as well.
Hope that helps!
Anyway, I'm hoping to start like a series on how I compose sometime down the road, if that's something you're interested in.
What do you use to write?
Probably musescore
I compose at my piano, then when composition is done I notate on Musescore 3
Sounds so familar
Maybe it's the nostalgic vibe I was going for?
@@EdinKaso_Composer That sounds right
