It’s true but for me on short form I’m often charging back at shop after the gig… plus I always travel with 8 AC power plugs so that was a separate case in addition to hard case… so slightly more hassle to charge on location at end of day… but often I have quite a few already tapped into power on location so they charge over night in place.
John thinking of going in this direction, with a soft case. There are of course small 24v 5 A power supply’s and spider attachments that I’ve used for walk away charging versus the Astera power box. I digress, have you tried the pool noodle option on the astera soft case? That would clearly take up volume and may prevent rolling of the tubes. Just a thought.
Great idea. Thank you!
The one great thing about the titan case is not having to mess around with charging cables

Nifty! I have a 4 tube Titan case from Maccam that has held up really well over the years.
@@meetthegaffer so Maccam made they're own cases? Or you got the astera case thru them?
@@GaffersSalonI believe it was put together by Maccam. It looks different than the cases you presented.
