hi, do you think stating that I'm unemployed could have costed me during my interview for a C1/D visa? How soon can I reapply for another interview since I still have time before sign on? Thanks.

      Hi..yes, its likely.
Am not sure about the reapplication period. Maybe visit the US visa website and see the T&Cs

Is it a must that the job you have been hired by cruise ship to match with the job your current working? Like I'm a security guard in Dubai with my Visa saying that, but I got a job as a Aquatic attendant which I have experience and work in Kenya from 2010 to 2016 .What should I feel in DS form as the current job.

      Hello,
In your visa application you put the same information as you did in your resume. Just list the same experience that you listed to secure the job & the skills & responsibilities that support the Position that you are being recruited for.

Do they really check the documents you present? I mean the offer letter and the contract?

    • @Navigating_withNjoki

The Visa interview is done as per the information on the Ds 160 & supporting documents you present ( your LOE : Letter of Employment).
All this information has to flow.

      Hi dear.
I Feel for you. Aki pole.
Re-applying is totally a decision you have to make by yourself..and whether they grant you the VISA or not ( praying the Do!), nobody really knows. My advice is be truthful on your next application (or rather ensure your information is consistent)
      All the best 🙏
