    My primary investment strategy is long term high yield dividend investing, index funds and reducing risk and exposure using options. I have been actively trading the stock market for over 25 years and have built most of my wealth by reinvesting my dividends and following my 14 Personal Rules of investing. I actively trade options on both the American and Canadian Stock exchanges using options strategies and buying and holding high yield dividend paying stocks.
    I generate monthly income in two ways. Averaging more than an annual 7% return by collecting dividends on high yield dividend stocks that I hold. The second income stream comes from the selling of option premium and taking advantage of theta decay. I love trading strangles, Iron condors and diagonal spread for maximizing returns. Delta neutral strategies allows me to make money in both bull and bear markets and limits my risk. Both of these strategies are suitable for passive income and create a stable predictable safe passive monthly income.

    Thanks for the video, Levi. I’ve been using this spreadsheet for six months since it was given to us on Patreon and it’s been great. I rarely even use the brokerage software anymore to manage and review positions because this is better.

    Great one! One small hack - if you want to insert today's date in the date cell, just hit "cmd+;" and it wi;l insert it for you. I find it even faster then typing =)

    Levi, I appreciate what you do to help investors. You make complex things simple. I've been using your "wheel" tracker for a month or so, and have saved lots of time in data entry. On another topic, do you know which of the major trading platforms supports automation of exiting option trades? Have you published a video on this topic?

    Maybe I've missed it - How do I enter Futures like the /MES? Do I use the "/" as some platforms use or is there other special symbols needed? Do I use just MES or MESH4?

    • @DrawbridgeFinance
      @DrawbridgeFinance  Pƙed 5 měsĂci +1

      /MES will pull data if the futures data is turned on in the .0Strategytests sheets. Reach out via email if you’re having issues getting it loaded.

    Thank you Levi for the video. Please, is it possible to combinate stocks with options in this spreadsheet? If yes, i am going to buy it right away :-)

    • @DrawbridgeFinance
      @DrawbridgeFinance  Pƙed rokem

      Yes you can combine stock and options in the sheet. The cheapest way to purchase is to become a options tier patron for 1 month for $50 /USD. That way you get the rolling options record keeping spreadsheet and access to my private discord for the whole month including all my trade alerts. www.patreon.com/drawbridgefinance

    Hello Levi, I'm relatively new to covered calls, and am primarily selling covered calls on dividend stocks. Your spreadsheets look very interesting and I am considereing purchasing your record sheet spreadsheet. I'm most interested in daily updating of the call prices and need software that automates collecting the stock price and asking price at day's end. Does your spreadsheet do that? Thanks....

    • @DrawbridgeFinance
      @DrawbridgeFinance  Pƙed rokem

      I sell two spreadsheets that would likely interest you. Both pull the last traded prices of a stock based on the values provided by yahoo finance and high are updated every 15 minutes during market hours. .
      The rolling options record keeper tracks open options and is primarily for determining entry and exit for active traders. The wheel option calculator is designed for the selling of long stock/covered calls and short puts and is designed for the long term tracking for those types of positions. Both sound like they would suit your needs. If you do decide to do the rolling options record keeper, the cheapest way to purchase is to become a options tier patron for a month which gives you the record keeper plus access to the discord chat room for the month. Hope that answers your question. If not reach out again. :)

    Does this spreadsheet works with Canadian Stocks Listed in TSX?

    • @DrawbridgeFinance
      @DrawbridgeFinance  Pƙed rokem

      The spreadsheet works with any stock as most of the information is manually entered and tracked. The stock price is automatically generated using google finance data so most TSX symbols work. Inputting TSX:ENB would return the price of Enbridge on the TSX. There is also colour coding built into the sheet so you can quickly see the USD and CAD options. I use both CAD and USD options on the same sheet all the time.

    Can I use this Rolling Options Record Keeper for Indian Stocks and also change te currency to INR ?

    • @DrawbridgeFinance
      @DrawbridgeFinance  Pƙed 2 lety

      It is designed to pull the market data of US stocks but you could easily change the coding to pull data from another source or over ride the automation. I don't lock my sheets so they can be customized for your liking. Changing currency etc. This would require knowledge of spreadsheet formulas.

  • @acura108

    Does the spreadsheet support futures options? ie. ES,NQ,CL, etc?

    • @DrawbridgeFinance
      @DrawbridgeFinance  Pƙed 2 lety

      It doesn’t pull futures prices real time as I don’t have a good data source to pull the spot price of the future. If you know of a reliable website I would love to add that function as I trade options futures as well. The sheets are not locked so you can customize to suit your needs. I use it to track /CL and just move the decimal over on my credit because the default of the sheet is to calculate 100x and not 1000x.

      I trade different futures tickers such as /cl, /es, /zb with different multipliers. Let me know thanks!

    • @DrawbridgeFinance
      @DrawbridgeFinance  Pƙed 5 měsĂci +1

      My sheet is designed to track any trading style including futures. It will pull spot futures data from investing.com with a 15 minute delay. The multipliers are pulled from a sheet included in the record keeper that can be updated easily with any parameters you like. It’s already formatted for the common futures list. Sounds like you should consider joining the discord chat where I post weekly futures and stock trade ideas.
