Thank you for your input on the buying process over there. I have heard of the weird ancient land laws before but usually it is country places. I hope in the future all the expats will be able to make changes to some of the things. Like writing checks to lawyers accounts. Happy for your place no to fix. I see lots of orange trees and flowers. Come middle of summer a pool for you and a gazebo to sit in shade of noon time heat. You never said how far away is the ocean from this home???

@@Iwantalemon I would love to see your beaches. I live 15 min from the Gulf of Mexico beach. We swim with sharks. What out! I only go out so far to avoid them. I take a boogey board and surf the waves in shore. We have similar climate as you.

Really informative video, thank you. Can i ask, did your lawyer check the land registry/BUPI plan, articles, etc BEFORE you paid your deposit (in between the offer accepted and the promissory)? We are viewing a PT property on Friday for the 2nd time and your input would be helpful! By the way, we were in Cernache do Bonjardim today and walked past the fire station and lawyer office!!😊😊
