    Lift High the Cross
    Refrain:
Lift high the cross, the love of Christ proclaim,
Till all the world adore His sacred Name.
Come, Christians, follow where our Captain trod,
Our king victorious, Christ, the Son of God.
    Refrain
Led on their way by this triumphant sign,
The hosts of God in conquering ranks combine.
    Refrain
All newborn soldiers of the Crucified
Bear on their brows the seal of Him Who died.
    Refrain
O Lord, once lifted on the glorious tree,
As Thou hast promised, draw us all to Thee.
    Refrain
Let ev'ry race and ev'ry language tell
Of Him who saves our lives from death and hell.
    Refrain
So shall our song of triumph ever be:
Praise to the Crucified for victory!
    Refrain
    Text: George W. Kitchin

I'm a Lutheran and this is how we sing this song. I'm glad this is the version you posted! I listen to it every so often.
PS, both my Confirmation service and the funeral of a church leader began with this hymn! :)

@bat3606 I couldn't think of a more appropriate hymn to be sung. The victory will be yours, in Christ!

Lift High the Cross. Ironic, what it took for mankind to accept God's gift of love. Eternal life, and kindness, like they never saw. Ironic.

    Awesome voice! Thank you!
I am a pastor in Canada (LCC). We use the LCMS hymnbook (LSB). With the Covid-19 lockdown, we aren't allowed into our church and are live-streaming our services via Zoom on Sunday mornings. Afterwards, we upload the recording to our website. We do not charge or sell anything--it's public worship.
Would I be allowed to insert the videos of some of your hymns (singing) into our service and also upload it? We would gladly include the graphic of the "Lutheran Songbird" and your web address right before the video of you singing. We would also include the lyrics of the public domain hymns in our services.
    Thank you again!
God's peace and health in Christ Jesus,
    Pastor Dan Abraham

By all means, please do use any of my videos in any way that will be useful for you and your services. You do not need to credit me in any way. All glory be to God! (I will point out, however, that I think you're mixing up your avian Lutheran CZcams crooners. I am the Lutheran Warbler. The Lutheran Songbird is a lovely singer who can be seen here: czcams.com/channels/GhpaxMViWvqYQhfkQTt2yg.html. I highly recommend having a look at her channel, as well.)

Greetings to you Wonderful Lutheran Lady all the way from Canada.
I am James Prophet, the vicar in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Strangley, I have been seeking an online version of hymn 334 "O Lord, How Shall I Meet You" (v. 2-6) for a sermon I wrote and posted on facebook recently.
Would you be able to do a video of this hymn, which I could link to my sermon?
    In Christ,
    James
    1 Peter 3:15
P.S. This was the hymn I picked for confirmation. Definitely my favourite of all time. God bless you.
