- Here's my review of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra after using it for the past 30 days/1 month. It's a solid upgrade even though it looks similar to start. The big thing here is 7 YEARS of updates, which means it will be good into 2030!

Not a lot of people have been mentioning the 7 years updates from Samsung. With people holding onto smartphones longer, I think this is HUGE. It sounds great to me, I'm upgrading from a galaxy note 8 (7 years old) and i plan on keeping it for a while.
you should use the anti-reflective screen protector from Samsung. Using a glossy screen protector negates the anti-rflective screen of the S24 Ultra.
Lol. What are you talking about? People don't mention that is because we don't even need that. Not many people will use their phone for more than 4 years. 4 years updates are just enough.
It's surprising how fun using the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra especially the AI generated features which I think Apple will soon feature in their next flagship of the iPhone.

First day i had to get used to it,size, phone in the hand,but now... it's such a perfect phone and I'm used to it.

You cannot copy a design that was released 3 months prior. It doesn't work like that. Comments like that is why there's a non-stop war between Android and Apple.

Apple doesn't compare or offer a portion of the features that an Android offers. Especially Samsung Ultra Series. A 3yr old can learn an iPhone in 30min. It can take years to learn everything your Samsung can do. I've never figured out all the options my Note 8, Note 10+, S22 Ultra had to offer me. Just like my 512g S24 Ultra, I'll never figure everything out. $800 is what my Carrier gave me for my S22 Ultra. So, I couldn't pass this one up.
Actually competition is about doing what the other did and try to do it better. 5x optical was samsung from s and note 20 ultra. Flat display was on old samsung, I'm actually like the aluminium frame with gross finish look more premium and light weight too but they went with grade 2 titanium different from grade 5 on iPhone but full frame build on samsung. I actually will prefer titanium on the back than side to increase durability. Samsung is a reputable phone company that push boundaries. But in all I'm disappointed on how us market push down the beast in phone world Huawei. Which outperform every phone in all categories in 2019 with p30 pro . IPhone shouldn't be compared to samsung. Only in video, camera is subjected to preference. To eyes samsung look better but true to reality it flip between situations. Why iphone users always fight for ego not reality
I prefer the titanium frame as it doesn't leave the same fingerprints the glossy one does, which I hate! You can NEVER clean it!@@esoghumedominic13

The only thing that prevented me from pre-ordering a S24U is the camera, since aside from the 5x zoom camera that is indeed similar to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra's, they're the same as generations prior.
Which is a shame, since this phone is almost perfect aside from the camera that plateaued along with the battery charging tech that is still at 45W wired and no Qi2 support, although I must admit that the Qi2 rollout is very lackluster.

I love the flat screen since now the tempered glass works with the fingerprint, it's just slightly delayed. My only complaint is the lower screen to body ratio so you can see the black border all around the screen and that the phone is a bit wider than the S22 Ultra, which I upgraded from. This makes holding it a bit challenging for me, so I have to find very thin cases.
I have a S24 ultra too. My fingerprint scanner works instantly, and there is no delay at all; it's really fast. It's actually sad because I barely get to see my wallpaper 😂 kidding love it.
Maybe it's something with your device? My device also has the AOD set to auto, I doubt it has anything to do with that, but I don't know.
It really is an unreal display. Plus! the ai photo features and editing tools are soooo much fun! Pretty decent package

She doesn't break a sweat while using the 24 Ultra. Coming from the S22 Ultra, this phone feels like I'm only using a portion of it's power. Plus, it's so feature packed that I'll never learn everything it has to offer 🤟

Does anyone have a problem with the Galery app? It's been really slow in the past few days. Sometimes, it takes 5 seconds to load the pictures?
I switched from the S9+ to my current Iphone 13 pro max strictly because of the awful curved edge screen. I didn't like it as much as I thought I would and putting on a screen protector was absolutely horrible. With the screen now being completely flat, being great quality, and such an amazing build. I definitely see myself switching back for the Ultra. Something about the square design really hits home.

It's great even after 25 days and will continue to be great after. Apple is great to their new phone with the ios 18 will also have AI of course and will have RCS chat similiar Imessage to allow better communication with android users. Had samsung phone since s2. But I would not bash apple.

Same crappy screen too 😢...How about mine came with a battery issue and phone stopped charging after only 3 weeks of having it. Just got it replaced today. I hope this update fixes alot

Let’s be honest in 7 years phones might be very very different, either phones will be reduced to a Nokia 3310 and will have glasses as our new phones for everything else or the “glasses” might replace everything
Still it's a major improvement, given the fact that I also remember the Samsung of 10 years ago that had the most horrible software support for their phones, which was two years at best if you owned a Galaxy S or Note phone.
Not to mention that TouchWiz was a disaster.
@@RockstarRomania very true! Most androids really didn’t last long. At least that support is now provided. But yeah honestly I’m scared to know where tech will be in 7 years. We basically have the tech right now, as like a people, to have ai integration into glasses. If a company really wanted to make tech big right now with what we have, we could have a AR in glasses with AI integration, we could all be walking cyborgs, and with Apple Watch or just tech watches the amount of things that could actually be monitored health wise, it’s really scary to think about, cause the main problem with adopting all this will only be money, not so much waiting of tech to advance.

@@Azu10157I will be honest that later versions of TouchWiz were getting better by the time the S6 launched in 2015, but it still had the problem of being really behind when it came to Android updates.
Now they really nailed it with OneUI, even 1.0 on the S10 lineup was absolutely great.

anti reflective screen is prob why im gonna get it. and the pen input is all too wavy. not sure what its copying from iphone other than titanium side rails, maybe colors? ofc the design is trying to bring over some iphone users but this is ultimately an android enthusiast phone fs

I have never missed a single video of yours. Buying a big super phone like apple 15 pro max and samsung s24 ultra is just a dream for us. At least you can't buy an apple iPhone 11. These phones are very expensive in this country. If someone gives a good phone like this as a gift, he is lucky. I am currently using a Samsung type smart phone worth about 25000 in Sri Lankan currency. My favorite aspect is the photography and videography side. Buying the right camera and a good computer is like an expensive dream. I am still 18 years old. Still going to school. I am really sad and sorry for Sri Lanka where I live. Really sad about Sri Lanka 😪💔🥀

Bad side by side comparison of the anti-reflective properties. The iPhone you have a glass screen protector on which will enhance reflections while the S24 Ultra is without a screen protector, showing off the new anti-reflective tech on the Samsung. Not apples to apples.

I like to use my S-Pen when I am out in public because of my severe anxiety, playing with it helps calm me down.
If you buy this new. Update it, and be sure for the 1st few days you cycle the battery! Reduce to 0% then chanrge to 100% 2-3 times. The battery will love you for it and will be a beast. No one ever mentions cycling a mew device.

I love Android, especially Samsung. I've been considering getting a new phone, but there's a complete deal breaker for me: I've never been able to get voice commands to work using the Gboard keyboard. Since I dislike the other keyboards available on Android, I don't really have a solution.
I've always stuck with iPhone because of this issue. The voice command on iPhone may not be the best-neither as fast nor as effective as on Android-but at least it works.
If anyone has a solution that works, I'd be ready to switch back to Android, because the Galaxy S24 Ultra is really tempting me.
The only Android phone where I find that voice commands work right out of the box is on Google's Pixels. The problem is that I don't necessarily want a Pixel; I generally prefer Samsung, especially their high-end models.
It not only allows me to write much faster to many different people, but I am also disabled, so it's much less exhausting for me to speak than to type long texts by hand

I think the S24 Ultra is an excellent device. My only gripe with Samsung as a whole is the lack of continuity in their ecosystem.

I upgrade my phone yearly to biyearly. I have never cared about updates for that long. It always boggles my mind that people live beyond their means. If you can't afford a new 1500 device, buy a cheaper phone. It'll be a much better experience for you.

Remembered when i got the galaxy s7 edge, thinking it was something new and different, and then it got old real quick ever since. I did upgrade from note 20 to the s23u due to the reduced curvature but now I'll be trading in my s23u for the s24u haha
I think you should wait for the next one though, your s23 ultra is still one of the best Android ever produced. Moreover, you'll be getting the AI options soon. My thought, though. 👊🏾
