Great video. It’s a first for me too! I’m loving it. Thanks Daniel. Best regards, Richard
Daniel, my Gnome came out beautifully. I got unbelievable compliments on my project Gnome. The addition of lifting the beard and mustache really stood out. It looked like the Gnome was alive. I would love to share it with you. I always shared my projects with Chuck. It allows the teacher to see where the student has taken his art. Plus I never used an airbrush before.
Best regards, Richard

I like your work. 😊
Also I just learned how to air brush simply by your skill in teaching!! Thank you D.R.
Beautiful job and love all the painting and shading tips. A big thumbs up!
Great video and your delivery is straight forward!
amazing airbrush painting , thank you
Fantastic looking & a great help. Love watching you do these for new things to try. I do scale models so am familiar with A.B.
Great job Daniel.
Great information I needed this thanks
So charming! Leather's great, ain't it?
Very cool. Just bought my air brush
Loved the video, got one question. You mention using an aerosol sealer in between some layers, could you give an example of what kind of sealer you use?
nnnniiiiccceee job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
👍👍👍👍👍
20:25 ".. now we can start painting it into the beard." Immediately goes to the hat. Gotta love the editor.
Great tutorial and explanation. No mask while airbrushing? Jerry
Well beautiful work as always by you did miss something else:::: some red and pink highlights on his would be cccccc cold nose.🤪
Is it a basic cousre of airbrush that you can recommend, or that you have one already posted, I just came across this video which by the way it's excellent
Does airbrushing hold to the leather better than regular paint for leather?
Umm hey fella ,if i can ask have you ever done something with flames ? as im doing a motorcycle tank bib and saddlebag panels with flames so im looking for a way to fill in the background between the flame imagines that im tooling ,oh and i did injoy watching this ..sorry if this is not where i should have posed my question.thanks in advance
It's been a long time since I've done flames, but I'll see if we can incorporate it into an upcoming project.
how would you seal and protect this from outdoor elements if it was on a jacket or bag/holster? I'm having alot of issues with my paint just rubbing off with wear. I have no issues rubbing wax on the project no paint comes off then .
Please help .
One of the next videos shows my process for sealing painted leather, although, rub off happens over time.
What paint are you using?
Personally, I would go with createx airbrush paint. They've been making paint suitable for t shirts and artists for decades. Once heat set, literally machine washable.
Angelus Direct has cover top coat for their acrylic airbrush paints. They now have; FLAT; MATTE; SATIN; GLOSS AND HIGH GLOSS with a Urethane built in that events scratching! I’ve used their High Gloss on belts and the results were magnificent! My customers were absolutely delighted with the results. I use Angelus airbrush paints exclusively. No sense looking for something better when you already are using it.
I have a leather motorcycle vest with an embossed image on the back. I've been wanting to paint it for quite a while now; like a WWII Bomber Jacket. I need a paint that I can airbrush and yet is also water/weather proof. I don't expect it to last forever without some fading/weather damage. Can you recommend a paint line for this?
We always recommend Angelus. It's made for leather and shoes, just make sure to prep the leather using Angelus Preparer and Deglazer.
@@WeaverLeatherSupply Thank you!
I went ahead and gave you helpful video "Like" but, just to clarify, & from what I could see...your airbrush white looks quite opaque and not at all transparent.
That having been said, great video overall. And I will be buying some Hermann Oak leather from Weaver in a few weeks! Great company!
Looks great but why didn't you do anything with the nose it makes it look unfinished.
Soooo......are you saying that big moustaches and beards annoy you? I think you're making a dig out of jealousy!!!! You're just jealous of my soup strainer, aren't you?🤣 I am of course kidding. Always learn something, thanks.
I don't think I said that, but thats pretty funny.
@@DanielReachCreations 🤣Glad I could make you chuckle. BTW, Thanks for the idea of orange and blue for brown, never thought of that. Usually just add black, but I think blue would give me better control for browns than just having a walnut type color.
@yamaha biker It definitely did!
Happy to help. Adding black to a color only makes it a darker version of what you already have. Shifting to a different color means you have to introduce a new color.
Wow...how many times can you say color in one reply. 😆
