I still have the same green Stanley Thermos that my dad had when he was alive...and I am now 49 yrs old, and have had it for the entire 23 yrs that I served in the military (have even taken it on every deployment that I have ever been to, even to combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan) I wish everyone good luck in getting this next generation Stanley thermos soup carrier. Reminds me of the small ones that would fit in the lid of the old Stanley construction site-type lunch boxes.
I'm in! I use my Stanley thermos every weekend to hold my coffee while teaching firearms safety and marksmanship. Would love to try the wide mouth to pack some soup/ stew for winter months.

I've been camping for years but I'm just getting in to camp cooking before I'd go with dry food and recently with in the last few years discovered it's so much nicer to have a hot meal while I spend my nights and days out on the rivers or in the woods camping I've got my pack that can keep me comfortable for a few days. I'm searching for a good cook set and have been leaning toward Stanly. They just look nice and we'll build but I enjoy your videos so far you have me sold on what set I wanted get.

Respecting your last comments, I recently took a vacation alone to the mountains in my country and disconnected myself of my electronic devices and work schedule. While hiking, the air of the mountains and the gorgeous views after each hike felt so rewarding and breath taking that I never wanted to leave. Sadly I had to go back to my schedule after my vacations were over but I have hope that one day I could spend most of my days in the nature away from the big cities. Have a nice day! :)
I'm there! And I'm in! I'm a trucker and my dubble fuel tank, I mean my two Stanley's full o coffee keeps my driver door shut and me moving tomorrows products, going for hours. You could say they help me deliver on time. Thanks for the video maybe its time to retire these two old Stanley's course they never wear out. And get two new and improved ones. Hey Donny nice video, I bought the 1.4L back in October and I tested the life out of it, I tested it hour by hour and then every 12 hours separately and then every 24 hours separately and then I left it sealed for a 122 hours / that's more than 5 days and nights and the water was still reading 98.9*f or 37.2*c, Thanks for the video keep up the good work.
I have a few thoughts about these items. As with any outdoor product they all have a purpose and a spot better suited than other useful things... Example of these could consist of several factors. Let's say I am Kayak fishing on a local lake. I know if I need to prepare my lunch and it is cold- "Crappy Season" Some will get it. I cannot not always just port my Kayak and legally pop a fire out or even use my Butane stove. But I bet a nice warm soup would hit the spot around noon.. Over the years I have learned not everyone makes the same Thanksgiving Dinner . But it is still a Thanksgiving dinner....... Thanks for the Stanley Sundays and I noticed that the evolution of the products are looking at every factor to keep the product at its peak... The Metal in lid will not wick the heat out as it does with my Vintage Stanley with the plastic lid.... Good thoughts and observations on Stanleys part.. ATB Mike
Im in. I just bought the old school Stanley 25oz. I love it. I had a 40oz that I had for many years until construction guys used it urinate in--yes, you read right. We had to evacuate for Hurricane Sandy and we had to be homeless for four months, then we had Hurricane Mother-in-law. Well, she, of course, was nice enough to put us up (my wife and two kids). Apparently, during all of the reconstruction that took place, we salvaged quite a bit of our stuff, the construction guys left us a nice present--was not nice to find urine in my thermos. We threw it out, the thought that it was peed in was a bit much. It was only this week that I finally replaced it. NIce to have my own coffee I make out on the road.
I'm in. I have been planning on getting one as soon as money problems gets better. Honestly these remind me of the Stanley products from yesteryear except these have longer hot cold times.
Stanley makes some of the best damn products period..! They had a few yrs where they dropped the ball but over the last 5 or 6 yrs as you say a marked improvement. Im in...:)

I recently bought this, however after filling up with boiling water while testing it. The top part of the exterior (around the neck where the body meets the handle) started getting warmish after the hr mark. Is this the normal standard of the flask? should I request for a replacement?
