- In this video, I will show you how to create this gorgeous card using the whitewash technique. I used the Abigail Rose Suite including the Cottage Rose stamp set and the Abigail Rose DSP, both from Stampin UP.

Love this technique 💜💜💜. I did one day before yesterday using an old stamp set called regarding dahlias. It turned out beautifully. You are one of the very few demonstrators who actually shows you how to do the technique. Love this technique and love your cards. I have done this with Sahara Sand and Crumb Cake with great success. I did use a different stamp and was able to put a pale pink in the centers of the flowers.

Beautimus cards Stella! L💖VE that technique. Loved the old lady joke. Sorry I've been MIA during your lives...very busy moving mom out of her apt. Coming down to the wire now. So far we're getting along PRETTY well. We had an incident last Sunday that required a "Come to Jesus" talk, but things are better for now. Speaking of rich people, I had an aunt and uncle that bought a new car every couple of years and bragged about how they paid cash for it. 🤢🤮 In hindsight, all their bragging used to bug me, but now I just laugh and think to myself how nice it was for them to keep the car just long enough to depreciate the it for someone like me that buys newish used! 🤣🤣🤣 Although, these days the prices are like new car prices IF you can find a decent newish used car. Alot of rich people are cheap skates. But you know what? They are miserable. Oh, they brag and gloat, and paint smiles on their faces, but inside? They are full of dead men's bones! Loved your old ladies joke. All three of those ladies would be me! Lol! Not sure if its ALL attributed to my age or partly my blonde showing! Lol! Well my friend, got to motor. I was helping my mother clean her apt for months so they could renovate and they still haven't started it yet. She's a hoarder and it just went back to a mess each time I went over there. I would throw stuff out and pick things up off the floor and then a couple weeks later it's all over the place again. It's very stressful for me. I think you are right about rich people. I think a lot of them are fake happy. I think the ones that are the happiest are the ones who share what they have with others. I would be very generous if I were rich. I would go travel around the country and just help people. Have a great rest of your weekend!

Love that technique, haven't tried it yet. I love vincas too. Vincas have been my favorite annual flower for like the last 5 years. I bought my mom a vinca plant, she loves the leaves vincas have. For the last two years I have saved the vinca seeds, this year's are just pooping up. I also bought a plant and buying more soon.
That's awesome! I didn't know you could save the seeds. I just always get new ones. I'll have to try that for next year.
@@stampingwithlisa the seeds are very tiny and they are in a pod. You just have to keep an eye on them because when they dry out, the seeds will fall out.

Enjoyed watching this video as always. Really like this card. Got my shimmer paint mixed yesterday. Took me three stores to find 70% alcohol was weird. Decided I might need more of the paint as mine is the Frosty white and doesn’t seem to show up as much as yours. Love your laugh, too!

In 2021 they stripped my trees bare. Even the pine trees. This yr they weren’t very bad. I was afraid that our trees would die last yr. Fortunately/ unfortunately we have tons of leaves on the ground now( it’s Nov 2022) lol. My oldest son is allergic to them and anywhere they dropped on him it would leave marks from the feet of the caterpillar.
