I keep hearing this argument that Airbnb is looking out for their best interest. Wouldn't they benefit from having hosts gain maximum revenue since they charge a percentage of your booking and not a per booking fee?
Airbnb survives on the guest booking spaces! It is the best interest of their customer that Airbnb is supporting. With that said, you can be a very profitable and successful host on Airbnb! Their marketing is very helpful in keeping your property booked! Where are you hosting?

It's just supply and demand!
Dynamic pricing uses the market demand to determine the rate much like any other supply & demand-based business.

Of course not. THey profit when the property is booked. The chances of a booking renting increases as the lower the price decreases.
