Oh man, I like the gas can; I mean Gascogne. She's more survivable than the Champagne, her AP shells does 13,000 damage compared to Richelieu 11,900 damage, & she haves other minor improvements over the two. I don't have the JB or the other ship. But the Gascogne can still feel rough to play sometimes
Gascogne has better sigma than JB and Riche. 1.9 compared to 1.8. She also has faster reloading heals. Dispersion is the same with all 3. So with Gascogne you have a more accurate version with a less favorable turret layout.
Is this an old clip or something? It did get buffed recently to be fair, as for secondaries that's a universal problem in the game, ships that have decent secondary guns that unnecessarily have trash range and/or accuracy
i got gascogne in wows pc a month ago, stuck a maxed out commander on it and figured out shes a really good tank, ap spammer. i tried doing a secondary build but please, dont do this, they have terrible penetration and accuracy. with the ap focused build i was able to get a decent winrate in the ship and xp, 1st-2nd on the team every game.
The only 100 mm secondaries that can reliably penetrate things are the germans 105's. Even high tier destroyers can tank non-germans 100 mm secondaries so the only use those have against ships are to try to set fires & hope the shells hit ships superstructures. The 152 mm can penetrate armor but the common inaccuracy secondaries are known for & the slower reload can get in the way of it being more effective
