First ONdigital (June 1999)

Among the many scintillating channels exclusively available on the ONdigital service was channel 20, 'First ONdigital'. A shop window for upcoming attractions on the platform, most of the time it displayed static text screens with music, as available bandwidth was not sufficient to carry full moving video unless something else on the multiplex stood down to make space.
