Useful tips:
1. The single truck blimp will ALWAYS be phantom wedge. It is more protected tho.
2. If the guard at the communications tower is away, the box will be on the ground. If the guafd is near the tower, then climb the tower and search high.
3. For the plasma cutter, once you get inside the building, take a picture of the whole room and it will still count as picture of the planning board.

I recently came back to GTA online after 4 years away and the whole Cayo Perico thing seemed overwhelming to me. This video has taken me from someone overwhelmed by it a couple of days ago to someone who has knocked it down with ease twice today. You have earned a like, sub and then some from me. Great video.
Quick question, after you complete the mission, can you just go back and replay it? Don’t you have to do the preps again?
@@engelspimentelreyes You have to do 5 preps. Before the preps you have to gather the intel on Cayo Perico which is easy using the route on this video. Then the 5 preps. The longfin, the fingerprint cloner, the cutting torch, the aggressor (or whatever weapon you pick) and either the plasma cutter or safe code depending on what your primary target is. If you have a Sparrow on your Kosatka it's quite easy to knock down all of these preps and the heist in under an hour. I've been able to do 3 heists in a day a few times.
Cooldown is 3 hours and 14 minutes how long have you played today?

I've beaten it 5 times now and I miss elite everytime. Platinum 5 times in a row.
This is the guide I used for my first Cayo Perico a week ago. Thank you, it helped me alot. Now me and my son run it together
Small tip: when you jump out the island with your bike , make sure to click triangle/ Y in your controller before you touch the water (Meaning in the air) so that you don’t lose money.
I would suggest scoping the secondary targets on the airstrip as it would allow you to maximize your take by going for the good stuff first, and doing so will take 5 min extra at best.
Plus by far the easiest to get to with the forklift
As an experienced cayo heist solo player, I follow almost what you did. However, I only stick to coke as secondary. If the airstrip doesn't have enough to fill my bag, I travel to main docks via boat. Once my bags are full, I enter the compound and kill only specific guards along the way (to try to get gate keys). Once looting El Rubio's office, I jump down and enter the underground via gate keys. In this way, I only need to use the fingerprint hack for one print instead of 3. Then I use gate keys again to make my way to the exit door of the compound. Some of my runs were sub 13 and almost all runs gave me elite challenge bonus.
i ussually follow the other route he made a while ago but hit an extra loot location at the main docks and usually always get sub 11

You should elaborate more on the scope out mission bro for the ones who don't know. Also, check the mini map when Pavel says to get a cab for the longfin, there are two different locations and the one that has a single truck is always a phantom wedge. Nice video bro 🙂

First time doing the heist, followed your instructions, and somehow they found the body of the guy next to the bike and sent a chopper after me, the chopper was quicker than I was and killed me once, and then they sent el Rubio in his attack helicopter and somehow I managed to evade them and get to the cliff! 😂 great video, I think I’ve watched it 10-15 times and just ingrained everything in my memory, nice video! A big help in trying to figure out wtf to do after 2 years of not playing anymore
What do I do after the body is found
@@tonytone527 pretty much just try and escape to the water and hit the cutscene, if you’re swimming and the chopper or boats are after you, make sure you’re stocked up on snacks so they can’t kill you and swim as low as possible, the chopper and boats have pretty bad aim so you shouldn’t lose too much money

For audience information:
Do your airstrip scouting properly (before you go to the tower, unless you self delete to go back) so you know if there's priority loot.
Bag percentages (in descending order of full bag value)-
Coke = 50% (ALWAYS GET FIRST)
Grass = 37.5% (x2 for 75 so you can get a stack of cash if no more weed)
Art = 50%
Cash = 25%
You can kill the hangar guard by headshot with no problem. You can kill the guard outside the office by stealth melee if you want to go faster with less risk of detection.
Jump off the bike just before you hit the water so it takes less time to get moving.

02:54 I don't think you can scope these two points before you go to the communications tower. I tried to do it in the order as in the video, and it doesn't work.
I made the same mistake doing this for the first time last night, gonna like this so others hopefully see and don’t make the same mistake
For the part when u steal longfin it actually always spawns the phantom wedge and u should zoom in, in the map to see the 2 truck locations but 1 of them only spawns 1 truck thats the phantom wedge

Thanks this has worked for me after many failed attemps. Its handy to shoot guard at the top of stairs before entering the vault. Also, have to be very quick with motorcycle because the body gets spotted, I nearly survived that

office cams are also important if you only have cash in the airstrip as 2 paintings is worth more than 4 cash (both full bags)

Cool tip: the only stuff worth looting to maximise your cash are: Paintings, Gold and of course, the main objective.
I just did it for the first time ever. Only killed 1 guard. The one at the air strip. I found a way out of compound without killing anyone my first try. If you follow fense line way left of the guards and walk the fense up to the guard post until you reach a tank you can jump on and hop the fence. From there on you know the rest.

Hot tip for the guns go to a helipad or call merryweather or call assistant or buy a heli from ceo menu or don't be cheap n buy a sparrow n save up for oppressor

You didn’t mention how when you go in stealth to get the safe codes it glitches, here’s how: don’t hold any weapons while in the penthouse and don’t run into any guards, if you find the guy with the safe codes just go and steal the codes while he is still alive, once you do that, he and other guards will shoot and kill you, as soon as they kill you, you will respawn outside with the prep done.

if you go into the power station you can turn off lights and camaras for about a minute, theres also climbing gear in the hill behind the second spot in the airstrip that you can get to use a different escape from the compound instead of using the front gate, found this out today while messing around with friends lol

I know they are expensive. But blowing up that chopper bringes me joy in my heart.
Another tip:
The 2 office guards after 19.50.
If you knock them out, dont shot, with your pistol, they wont start the alarm. + they might have the gate key, for the bassment
I’m busy with the setups rn, i already did the heist multiple times but never since the guards are able to spot bodies so this will definitely help me when i start the heist.

You have to be carefull of not blocking the gate with the forklift if u plan to go in the bottom location after looting top
Idiot me did this on one of my first attempts and trapped myself in the bottom because you can walk in but not out.. also have fell between the forks and pallet and got trapped that way =/

If you want the Phantom wedge you have to go to the furtest truck it wil stand alone and secured. (You dont get it really but for the mission)

After me and an ex-friend stopped playing this game, he used to hold my hand through this heist, i'm happy to say that for a now solo player you make me feel confident in going stealth.
That 1 guy that's coming down the stairs he doesn't walk all the way out anymore he stands like right there by you and then when he turns he sees you instantly

When you do get the kasaka (what ever you spell it) if you get the hellicopter is really good if can if u don't have a oppresser mk2 or a really fast bike/car

I get you say skip the Merryweather hq setup but me personally I'm fine with it, if you end up doing it instead of trying to go into various different servers you will save alot of time

Thank you SO much for this guide. Did my first 2 solo heists over the past 2 days.
Only problem - when I drive off the cliff on the motorbike, I get instantly detected and get chased by helicopter and boats until I escape via my chosen escape path. Any idea what I do wrong? Only guard I kill is the one near the motorbike.
The instructions on how to sneak around were so good that I had to restart 5 times but I guess I'm not that mad cause I still did it.

I watches another tutorial and it was almost the exact same so this must be the best way to do it solo
2 tips that I would add to this is to check the office cameras for any paintings and to check the hanger and main docks for loot in the scope out mission
you don't have to... the loots spawn at the hangar are guaranteed to fill up your bag.. don't have to waste your time scoping them out... just scope for the primary target and dip to new session to save more of your prep time
