  • This video is from the first day of riding on my mountain biking vacation with my brother Deverick and our friend Oliver. Bentonville is located in Northwest Arkansas and is often called the mountain bike capital of the world and boy does it live up to its name.
For the first day we rode Slaughter Pen. This is the first of my four part view series overviewing a few trail systems around Bentonville. Stay tuned for more videos from Slaughter Pen, Coller Mountain Bike Preserve, and Little Sugar. We had a blast on this day. It was just so cool to park in a parking ramp downtown and ride a less then the block to the trails. normally you have to drive into the middle of nowhere to get some good riding. I'm from Eau Claire, Wisconsin and we don't have flow trails like this back home. This is the first time I've ridden trails with huge berms and progressive table top jumps. As you can see in the video we spent some time sessioning some of the smaller jumps and drops. Its awesome having a place like this where you cant practice on smaller features and table tops jumps and move to bigger features and jumps when your skills progress. Later this week i saw a four year old clear this big step up table top. I wish I had access to a place like this as a kid.
If you ever get a chance to come to Northwest Arkansas, I highly recommend riding in Bentonville and specifically Slaughter Pen, it has something for everyone! It really is like disney land for mountain bikers.
Enjoy and comment below if you have any questions.

Thanks for watching! Don't forget to subscribe to see my upcoming videos from this trip. This is just the first of four scheduled videos! If you have ridden in slaughter pen before, what is your favorite trail? If you haven't what is your favorite trail system you've ridden that I should ride next?
