Hi Ronny, from Iowa, USA. I love your videos -- Australia's landscape is so much different than what I'm used to and I think it's beautiful and would love to visit some day...it's on the list! So glad to see you and Andrew doing a video together. My two favorite Australian Overlanders! Love all your videos, keep them coming!
We love our Snowpeak firepit. I have spent a small fortune of Snow Peak gear over the past few years and every single peace has performed outstandingly and lasted without a single breakage. Awesome stuff. Their tent pegs, while expensive, are well worth it.
I've hade the same swag/tent for about a year now and think it's an awesome bit of gear. So much room inside, I can sit up and change my clothes in it. And with the open bottoms I thought it would bother me but haven't had an issue. Packing size is not much bigger than a coffin swag! Good choice Ronnie.
means allot when you say "as far as I'm concerned all of Australia is aboriginal land" I'm half native American, so those words really hit home, especially with what's been going on here. thank you Ronny. it's refreshing to see others with the same passion for land stewardship combined with 4wding.
We are all stewards of this Planet, sadly not everyone understands this important symbiotic relationship. In some cases native title translates into loss of access to all peoples to the beauty of nature
Ronny, I dig all of your videos. Here in Washington state all of the trails and logging roads are your normal dirt color. Most of the off road footage I see in Australia has that red color to the dirt, very cool. Nice to see an FJ Cruiser along too.
Hey Ronny! I'm going back rewatching old series during lockdown (Melbourne). Just wanted to say I really enjoy hearing about the name and stories of the traditional indigenous owners of the land you travel on just like you did in this series. Maybe that could be an ongoing theme in future series ? A little note about the name of country and traditional inhabitants of the land. Its always interesting to hear about how long ago they were there. Just a thought! Keep up the great work
Hola Ronnie from north central New Mexico, USA! Great trip makes me miss spring up here ...got about 5 months till we get the wildflowers back. people think New Mexico is nothing but desert too. Thanks for sharing bro!
Hi Ronny, love your videos and style, but it's clear the best driver in Australia's premier 4x4 show is a South African. I've watched all your adventures, and can't remember any that you did not get stuck or drive off the path into the bushes and need winching. On the other hand, the quiet assassin Wayne: never seen him put a toe offline or get stuck :). Cheers.
Excellent footage of some beautiful country, the wildflowers in particular are amazing. Will be interested to hear your long term thoughts on the new swag/tent.
Really enjoy your videos. From USA. I have a 97 4Runner, 5speed swap and elocker swap. Just installed a winch. Learned a lot from your videos. Would love to off road with you and see how far I can make it and learn.
Me and the Mrs really enjoyed that one Ronny mate. Good to see the bush getting a drop of the wet stuff. We have had shit loads here brother. Maintain. Moose in Northern Vic.
Nice out there near Paynes Find , would'nt want to be out there in the middle of summer though Ronnie , nice slow-mo going though the water . Keep em coming , vids & trips :-)
yeah summer is pretty bad out there, we went there once in December 44 degrees C... the flies where so bad I used the drone just above my head just give me a 10 min break from them ...
hey Ronny, I enjoy your videos sir. One request: next time y'all head out and spend the night somewhere, would you mind filming a time lapse of the night sky stars and including it in your vid? would like to see your view from Australia. keep up the great vids. cheers
you guys literally take over landing to a whole new level, and I love it! Great camera work and tips and information along the whole way! If I ever make it over to Australia I would love to contact you guys.
Just getting into 4x4 and your videos are an inspiration.. I'm in Vic, but would love to be in WA and meet up for a trip. Have you ever thought of coming to Vic for some trips?
Nice video. Do you have (/ can you do) a video on how you make these videos and what you use for making them including cameras, applications, etc. ? I want to start making videos in nature, but have no experience. I have done some photography, but did not make any videos before. I think you used at least one professional camera, plus a drone for this video. It would be very nice if you can also introduce techniques and tips too. If you like of course! :)
Ronny, these videos are freaking awesome. Thanks for posting them. I like the videos of the coastal trips the best. I'm assuming your Dad's JK broke down so he couldn't come on this trip? :)
i always sleep in the truck if we end up staying over night on a atv trip, always worried a curious bear will catch me sleeping and put the maulings on me.
I sleep in the truck because I don't like the large reptiles with sharp teeth that live in the NT. The salties are very friendly, and they love taking you for a swim.
Hi Ronny, thanks for sharing your great videos with. I was a pro photographer and am amazed at the quality of cinematography you produce. Mate would love to know what setup your using for your selfies. I'm guessing some sort of DJI gymble? Audio is great, which makes me think the camera isn't Osmo. Hey, where's Brian?
In this video it was with the Gopro but I now use the Osmo which can be a pain somethings as it it needs to pair with the phone before use... makes it hard to catch wildlife sometimes
two questions ronny 1. does the 79 cab very hot in black or is it bearable because I'm thinking of buying a 79 but i'm not sure what colour to get and 2. im also not sure what cab to get either
I have been thinking about re-running some modified episodes due to the massive changes to some of these vehicles so if I can make it interesting enough I may well do something like that later on.
Ronny, Is this place suitable for a soft offroader like a Hyundai Santa Fe? Just asking as I am thinking of doing a trip up there next month with me in a Ranger, a mate in a Pajero and another who wishes to bring his Santa Fe. What do you think?
Great video. I'd urge anyone not to purchase any Adventure Kings equipment, it's cheap & nasty and their after care customer service is the worst iv ever experienced.
Just like to say we have bought a bit of Kings gear and only trouble we had was with the double swag we got arrived and the zip starting coming away 2nd time set up , rang them , they asked for a few photos , we sent them direct to given email , they replied within 1/2 hour with a email stating they will send Transport out collect , sent con note number , they had it picked up next day , 5 days later received confirmation of all good to replace , new con note and tracking number and a week late brand new swag turned up . I was expecting to get hit with the old you pay freight to return item scenario , but no all covered . All I can say is for us , very impressed with customer service and back up .
Good stuff Ronny i'm looking at a new swag my pole broke too. Thats no a bad lookign one. One question how long is it? it looks rather short in video..
Another cool video Ronny. Question... what are your thoughts on rooftop tents? You seem to love the swags, but wouldn't a rooftop be much more comfortable?
That is a great question and one I will go into detail during another video just on tents I reckon. There are a few reasons and the main ones is I don't like having weight on the roof, the others I'll cover in a video ;)
Ronny Dahl I would love to collaborate on this topic and make a discussion video on the pro and cons between roof top tent, swag, and normal tent. Could do it with Wayne :)
+Ade Larsen not sure mate but I'm sure you have an egg-cellent answer for it. Unless your talking about the Sydney egg shell house designed by a Dane Jørn Utzon
Always a bright spot in my day when you drop a video Ronny.
I like your understanding of things and your sensability. I wish that here in Canada, we treated our native people better.
Looked an amazing place thanks for taking us along.
no worries and thanks for watching
i gotta say Ronny im probably your youngest fan aged 14 and you own my dream car but this video has to be my favorite so far.
Matt Beglinger thanks mate. I will be doing more videos in 2017 on a fortnightly basis
We love our Snowpeak firepit. I have spent a small fortune of Snow Peak gear over the past few years and every single peace has performed outstandingly and lasted without a single breakage. Awesome stuff. Their tent pegs, while expensive, are well worth it.
Great slowmotion shots through that water/mud in the 9 minute section.
We do have a great country.Wife and I cant wait to get over to the West.Great Video Ronny
I like your new swag. It looks like it did well in the rain. Lot's of room inside. Another great video..
+Dennis Symergelis my thoughts exactly I'm pretty happy with it. Have you had any poll splits yet?
Ronny Dahl
Haven't had one split, but I still get a bit nervous every time I bend them!
I love all your videos and your drone work.Keep them coming

@@SpectreOZ good point. And it's ironic that land ownership was not part of native culture
Thanks a lot for great videos. Camping gears look awesome - planning to equip my ride with them. Cheers from Mongolia.
Thanks Ronny, great work as always.
Ronny, I dig all of your videos.

So beatiful in the Australian outback :)

Awesome video. Mate like the new style of the truck 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Glad Wayne has a nice partner, seems like a great bloke along with Ronny of course

Can't wait for the next video Ronny!

Loving and enjoying your vids from Beautiful sunny san Diego California Brother.
Absolutely fantastic work! always a great watch!
Me and the Mrs really enjoyed that one Ronny mate. Good to see the bush getting a drop of the wet stuff. We have had shit loads here brother. Maintain. Moose in Northern Vic.

a big thumbs up from saudi arabia 😊
how dont you have a tv show, such better quality than anything on tele
Ronny, what camera and holding device are you using for the hand held selfie video shots? They are incredibly stable shots! Well done.
Feels a bit empty without Torben and the 2 older gents in the Jeep. Great video though!
Nice video. Do you have (/ can you do) a video on how you make these videos and what you use for making them including cameras, applications, etc. ? camera gear run down? Gimbul? worth a video? In any case your vids keep getting better and better mate ;)
Ronny, these videos are freaking awesome. Thanks for posting them. I like the videos of the coastal trips the best. I'm assuming your Dad's JK broke down so he couldn't come on this trip? :)
haha nah he had to cover for someone at his day job so he couldn't make that trip and the next one
Another amazing vid Ron.
How come you use such a small tent? Thought you would want something with a bit more comfort?
Cheers
Very nice Ronny. I'm looking to do a video series here on CZcams and I was wondering what camera you use to do your video on?
What camera stabilizer do u use?
BTW, that awning on the FJ is a pretty sweet set up.
i always sleep in the truck if we end up staying over night on a atv trip, always worried a curious bear will catch me sleeping and put the maulings on me.
I sleep in the truck because I don't like the large reptiles with sharp teeth that live in the NT. The salties are very friendly, and they love taking you for a swim.

Hey mate i love your work. i was wondering if you could do a vid with a 1HD-FT would be a beast man
G'day Ronny! Loved the video - those are some silky smooth hand held shots.. what gimbal are you using?
Get a steel snokl and a new air box for better intake
nice Ronny....no doubt, subscribe
Nice video mate. Will Wayne's missus be bringing out her blue hilux soon ?
two questions ronny 1. does the 79 cab very hot in black or is it bearable because I'm thinking of buying a 79 but i'm not sure what colour to get and 2. im also not sure what cab to get either

I'm 6.1 and there is enough space for my clothes bag next to me and about 150-200mm from my head and feet at full stretch
Warrdagga rock is a volcanic out crop?
The guy who loves blue (fj owner)
WHAT SONG IS PLAYING AT THE START, DONT IGNORE ME
How does your buddy with the FJ like his STT Pros?
Another cool video Ronny. Question... what are your thoughts on rooftop tents? You seem to love the swags, but wouldn't a rooftop be much more comfortable?

Hi Ronny, what camera equipment do you use..?
And just who was the architect of the Egg Shells Ronny ? And where did he come from ?
+Ade Larsen not sure mate but I'm sure you have an egg-cellent answer for it.
Unless your talking about the Sydney egg shell house designed by a Dane Jørn Utzon
+Ade Larsen and yes I did have to google his name 😉
Ronny Dahl Exactly.
Jan Utzon. Legendary Danish architect and designer. Good stuff :-)
Stay Viking Strong.
Stay Danish Strong.
Австралия вся как другая планета..
Great video as always Ronny, when are you coming to the Pilbara :D
+SummitX.net possibly in 2017 mate
Do a swag review and a campsite review
By the way loved the videos mate good work
