George was an icon in radio in Sydney. He passed away some time ago sadly. His passion for the church was always there......he did seem out of it a lot of the time, but this was part of his charm....

I didn't mean to be insulting to him. He definitely seems like he was a major fan and I quite like his interview style and his questions. Steve clearly really liked him.
Yeah - they got on really well. I'm now not sure if he's still with us - that's pretty bad isn't it.....just had this feeling that he had passed on - he certainly seemed to push the boundaries re substances etc.....a great guy. I should have explained also that 2JJJ is a government run radio station and he was someone who did what he did for the love of it - I doubt there was much money in it....certainly understand your initial comment - that was just the way he was - all of the time !! LOL

"Frozen and Distant" is one of my absolute favorites from them. To think that it would have been in the album! I'm glad the song exists nonetheless.
