In my fifty plus years of watching professional football, this was one of the worst referees i have ever seen.
He turns his back to the live play and even gave an offside, when the linesman didnt flag.....shocking!

He turned down two handballs for both sides, when he was on the wrong side of the play.

A great win Bolton had the best chances but we worked very hard and got what we deserved
Richie has to watch his temper we were also stealing 5-10 yards at throw ins it’s got to be punished by referees and linemen

Great performance. Shut Bolton down for most of the match. Great goal (could have been more) and amazing save. Not sure what the referee and linesman were doing.

Ref and senior assistant wanted Bolton to win. Allowed so many pushes and the cheaty throw ins by Bolton. Also, gave Sweeny a soft yellow card as the Bolton player bought it.

Ref had let that player take so many extra yards from the previous flurry of throw ins by the same player that you can understand Wellen's frustration. The player ran into Wellen's arm by way not the other way round as well!

Sunday 21st January 2023 It was a very tough match at home to Bolton Wanders on Saturday and we played really well in the first half but we didn’ crate any chances but In the second half we crated a number of chances to score and from a ricochet of one of the Bolton players we managed to score to go 1-0 up but they had a good chance to equalise and our goal keeper kept them out and I don’t think that Richie Wellens should have been sent off because it appeared that he touched the player who was taking the throw in and the referee over reacted and he didn’t have a good game at all. We are in 9th place going into next Saturday’s away match against Reading. Up the O’s
