I fucking love how impactful it sounds to get a headshot with the AK. Really gives it some weight, you know. Can't wait to try it out.

I heard streamers complaining that it "feels" unclear when you kill someone sometimes and watching this I think I would agree.
The sounds in this one are much worse than csgo

@@SpankeyMcCheeks The sound of the AK 47 isn't as impactful and there's a weird sound when you kill an enemy. Also,the sounds are not clear,it almost feels as if there's some disturbance in the background.
Every gameplay should be like this. No commentation or stupid jokes about what happening, just pure gameplay.
I hate obnoxious streamers so much... Unfortunately they're the ones drawing the biggest audience.

Might not be the case, the live game's bots are actually surprisingly accurate and reactive. As someone who grew up playing with bots in other FPSes as it was either that or get placed into NA/EU servers from Asia with 200+ ping, I still enjoy DMing with bots a lot in CS:GO and they're honestly faster and more precise than a lot of real players.
It's the same ig, in a match with bots in current csgo they ramp up the difficulty overtime and in the end it's exactly like in this video, bot with literal aimbot.
I never seen Bots with those names before, I think they reworked the bot system.
I played CSCZ, CSS, and CSGO, and those three have one thing in common, using bot system derived from CSCZ (by Turtle Rock Studios).
@@n_core I don't think they changed bots too much. Maybe their behaviour with pathfinding and strategy when playing Competetive, but their aim, no. They still behave like expert bots I usually dm against because of my terrible internet connection

Love the clean Version so the Game can be experienced fully. The thing I'm wondering is where one can see the StarTrak Counter on Screen. If I'm correct it was bottom right, now it is only on the weapon itself. Could be a thing to mark for people who got in :)

Love the kill type being shown on the kill cards on the bottom. Interested to know if it shows more than headshot, body shot and knife!

I wonder if the mid to low pc’s will handle this, maybe a huge fps drop when alot happens at once, hopefully the fps stays ish the same.
The engine is more optimized so if anything performance might be better on low end PCs

@@LouSipher That's because I didn't go into specifics. Source 1 is heavily CPU limited because of its lacking multithread capabilities (since it's old) and Source 2 has addressed that problem, so almost any setup will have extra performance overhead in CS2.
Also, Valve has no interest in pushing most of its playerbase away. Pro players want as many frames as they can get and Steam's own hardware surveys show the most used GPUs on Steam are laptop GPUs.

As someone who has stopped playing this game a couple years ago, this feels almost like the same thing. I hope they make some new gun animations, change some noises, and maybe record new voice lines to make it feel more fresh

Its a massive update but HAS TO feel the same for the most part. There is a reason why CS never stopped being one of the most popular games. Dont fix things that are not broken

Why is everything so bright and colorful? Looks as if the monitor settings were wrong. I hope the devs will fine-tune that before the release. As of now, this looks neither more realistic, nor more pleasant or clear to me.

I don't get it... They had 11 years and they basically launched a CS:GO but with a different UI and a visual filter and everybody is hyped about it. Like they didn't even bother updating the sound effects or the animations... That AK shooting sound sure was reasonable... In 2012...
Absolutely, this is not a game that's an update for csgo. maybe valve trying to bring csgo players back with just changing the name of the game.

There is combat report right now but they have that paid CS-360 so maybe they'll make it only for 360 when the game releases?
it is in the UI now. At the end of a round it will show you how much damage you did to each opponent under their avatar picture.
I hope we have 1h deathmatch and not this 10min thing that perma resets. CS2 looking amazing though

It’s interesting. I used to play counter strike source back in high school when it first came out. Played for years. Memory wise, this game looks identical, the only way I can tell it apart is when I compare the two. It’s obvious the graphics are much better, but oddly enough I couldn’t see it until I compared them. I’m the type of person that has started to avoid nostalgia grabs, so this is just my opinion, but I was hoping for something different, something more. Still cool tho, no hate.
I think that on gameplay basis it is something more, the fact that smokes behave the way they will creates an entire layer of competitive play. Competitive is the main drive of cs and it's been reborn

I don't understand, did they change the weapons or not? Some videos the guns are new looking and in some not
they cchanged the base models but some older skins from a previous amount are generally tied to the old models for now, this makes some skins look nearly the same as before, the lighting has changed for all the skins though

What is the 2nd cycle on the minimap? Does it show you if you make audible noise that enemies can pickup? Or is it the accuracy that you have?

It's basically a sound radar: the widest circle is the range your steps are heard, all the others inside of it are for reloads, scopes & other stuff
