It's all about which side of the bread is buttered we gravitate towards and cling there. Convenience is what drives people to "friendship" and nothing else
When each and every person examimes their needs and desires and come to a decision that they actually need friendships and that they are willing to work to nurture that friendship and weather the storms that come with it, then good, go for it. But if you're not doing it for yourself but being a "copy-cat", doing it because you saw someone else do it or doing it to benefit someone else or to be accepted or to earn titles then the results will be bitterness and resentment. Bottomline, you come first. Do you. Love you. Pamper you. Grow you. Improve you. Most of all be your own best friend.
