My mother passed away when I was young. She loved to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee while it rained. I also love doing this now. When I was younger to get away from my abusive step dad I'd go and sit in the shed out the back of the farm and listen to the rain on the corrugated roof, makes me appreciate how far I've come in life and that things are better, lovely video ❤

This is so-far No1 for me. Over 60 years ago sweets and chocolates weren't in abundance generally and i had tons of siblings so I shared one big room with 2 other siblings, so I'd hide pieces of chocolate in small cubby holes in that room, as soon as it appeared to me a storm was really, honestly closing in, I'd race to my stashes, bomb down the stairs, climb into my dad's Chicago gangster car, this is in deep countryside in UK, so assume my dad bought this flash car of the 30's, poss 'Coup de Ville'? Ordered in from US airbase not even a minuet away from our front door really! I'd open up the back door, lay down with a blanket or coat on and enjoyed the best show in town as the piece of chocolate melted! Pure bliss....😁⚡

Yes, I did this in my old apartment with thicker walls!!! Now I just keep my air purifier next to my pillow blowing cool air under the covers and it makes the most soothing but rumble-y sound 😁!

I absolutely love thunderstorms and rainfalls. I love the fresh smell of air before and after a storm. I love chilling in my bed and listening to the sound of raindrops hitting the ground. But most important...I LOVE THIS VIDEO! It helps me relax after a long and stressful day at work.

I'm a medical student and lately I've been annoyed by the fact that I get distracted easily when Im studying (more than usual) This actually helps me concentrate more, it breaks the silence at night and works as soundproof during the day (I have pretty noisy neighbours). Maybe cuz I'm more of a winter person; the sound of thunder and the rain relaxes me.

I'm from Colorado and we were kind of supposed to get a storm today. After two mediocre claps of thunder and a few spurts of rain it was over. So disappointing. So now I'm listening to this with my window open but my curtains closed, so I can smell the rain and it's a little windy, but it's kind of dark. I've had to make my own storm. Thank you for this excellent video!

My dad passed away November 2017; when I was a little girl, we would sit on the porch and listen to the rain to relax. The morning my daughter was born, there was a strong thunderstorm, and my dad was there with me, helping me through labor with the calming sounds of the storm. So again, thanks ... feels like Dad is here every night now 💕

Ur Dad will always be there when the rain starts to fall, every time u look up at the clouds u will know your Dad is up there watching over you, protecting u from everything that comes your way, I suffer from anxiety too, so I know what it's like. But deep down you know that you'll be ok when ur dads watching over you
