Everybody calculates. It's a lie. C'mon.. Indian h..
In that moment I akso thought the same as you gents.
However in subsequent sentences if you follow keenly you will understand how he lost 30 %. He didn't calculate anything, since the rupee had depreciated by 30 % against dollar. So in dollar terms, value of his investment depreciated by 30 %. Simple isn't it.
