Celtic FC Women Manager Elena Sadiku states: "If you look at this game and saw us play, it was not Celtic, it was not us. We were not on from the first minute. I thought that we were not like ourselves. We were not confident, we were not brave, and we don't deserve to win because we were not on. And that's something that we need to learn from ASAP because if we play like this, we're not going to win anything. And that's just the truth."

It was a poor performance for Elena Sadiku's side, but two late goals were their undoing. The opener came from a Rachel Rowe corner after she picked out Chelsea Cornet, who headed it into the net. A second followed almost immediately after Kelly Clark got a nick on a header, taking it straight into the path of Kirsty Howat, who lifted the ball into the back of the net. Rangers were overall deserved winners in this one. Celtic will feel frustrated as they offered very little menace and couldn't get Natasha Flint involved. Amy Gallagher came on at the break but didn't look fit. Both teams were guilty of squandering possession repeatedly. Not a classic, but for Rangers, the treble is on and they taked themselves into the final.
