    cricket is spoiling other sports in India that's a bitter truth.. BCCI doesn't want to grow other sports in country..see what is running on star sports. just 2 week remaining in Olympics but they are more interested to show cricket highlights on the name of sports and celebrate ex players birthday..and we are expecting more from our athletes. even 2 digit number of medals is huge achievement this time.

      I agree. This olympics looks difficult for Sindhu considering her poor performances in the last few BSF tournaments. She’s lost stamina comparatively and other players have become better. Let’s hope she gets a medal nevertheless

    When everyone was expecting saina to bring medal home she failed whereas Sindhu stood upon it and brought silver which created history.
    She defeated them who were at the top of bwf rankings.
    Therefore, this shows if you have talent and no fear and strength of fighting you can become any thing you want. Well done Sindhu for bringing 🥈🥉 to home.

    Tai Tzu-Ying has changed her game now.. more and more of Drops, deceptive angles, soft plays.. but her stamina is awesome.. Sindhu was gasping and getting more and more tired then unlike Tokyo 2020.. have now improved her stamina i guess.. If she had played her A game she could hav defeated Tai to be in the finals! Lucky for all to not have the freak badminton player Carolin in tokyo 2020. Carolin and Sindhu are the best of all when they play their best..the #1 & #2.

    In rio Olympics pvs thrashed legends like yihan tai tzu and okuhara ( all 3 are former world no 1 and Olympic medalists and world champs)
    But carolina marin defeated pvs despite being 1 game down. U can understand how much mentally and physically fit she was at that time. I feel Marin was on the road to get another gold in tokyo and another wc in huelva ( her hometown)

    Spare a thought for TTY here. She utterly dominated women's singles in the subsequent 2-3 years, and was arguably the best women's singles player ever. But she hasn't yet managed either a world championship or Olympic gold (through a combination of poor choices and the pandemic), and probably never will. What a pity. (Not to take anything away from Sindhu's victory here -- I don't think PVS has _ever_ managed to take down TTY quite so comprehensively before or since).
