    Super cool! So funny how great minds think alike. I used to watch your channel religiously when we both had our WRX’s at the same time and was modding mine right along with you. I sold my WRX about 4 years ago and purchased a 2016 S3 and sorta lost touch with your channel. I have since sold the 2016 and updated to a 2018 S3 in February. I just so happened to be looking into update my brake situation and found that you again have my same car. Very cool my friend and excited to check out your detailed content. Thank you for what you are doing! I need something with less brake dust. These pads are making my pretty wheels look terrible.
    Saving up for that RS3 though…maybe you can do the same?! HA!!

    It was good to have you back. Going back and forth allowed them to adjust. Car looks great

    Bro, you really need to buy yourself a brake piston pusher ( I don't know the english word), they are only 20 euro or something. The old pliers have a risk of damaging the seal or piston. Since you are messing with the brakes regularly, it's a worthy investment..

    Yeah, the ABS light to come on is indeed not common. Maybe it didn't like the free play after swapping the new pads in, end therefore threw a light. But for sure it's nothing to worry about as the code went away immediately. You can check the code with VCDS, I am pretty sure it has been stored.

    Tires breaking traction is a tire issue not a pad issue. OE pads will have great cold grip/initial bite for sure.

      dude i was thinking that.. and so many people say the DWS are killer with no issues. my Michelin Summers never had this issue, not even close. Another reason i need to get new wheels some day. that's also probably why they spin on my launch.. (although, i run 235 and used to run 255.. that makes a big difference..)

      @@LastHumansGarage they are great tires within their scope as an all season...I mean I tracked the Michelin PS4 all seasons.

      @LastHumansGarage  Před 2 lety

      maybe its the 255 more than the Summer then.. maybe if i had all season tires in 255 instead of 235, they might not slip. 235 is def not enough tire for this cars power

      @@LastHumansGarage wider tires for sure will help BUT they are heavier (your old 19s) which will slow you down a bit...should be a wash/close to it. At some point you're making enough power it will lose traction. I chirp my tires on the wagon when I launch.

    The only issue I see here Mark is you may have to go re-bed in The different pads because right now on the surface of the rotors is the older pad material…

    My legacy has that same steering wheel that you just showed at the end of the video Mark lol

      that is a replacement for the forester which is peeling. can't sell it as "mint" with a peeling steering wheel.. lulz

    Definitely not liking ceramic on my a3 either and am upgrading to s3 calipers with non-ceramic pads.
