1:39 からジャッキー先生がピアノで弾いていた曲ですが、これは학교종（ハッキョジョン、学校の鐘）という童謡で、韓国では国歌（愛国歌）の次くらいに学校で多く歌われてきた歌とも言われています。
作者は、梨花女子大学で音楽を教えていた김메리（キム・メリ、Mary Kim Joh）先生です。日本から独立を果たして間もない韓国において、学校で子どもたちに母国語での音楽教育を再開する取り組みの一環として、この童謡は作られました。
何気ないギャグシーンですが、音楽を題材に採った韓国アニメとして、祖国解放後の音楽教育の母である김메리女史へのリスペクトを表わすためにこの曲が使われたのかもしれません。
アニメの中で、客席のシクたちは安易にブーイングを飛ばしていますが、まさにシャーリー先生のおっしゃるとおり、世に歌い継がれる名曲というものには、人に伝えたいメッセージが、しっかりと込められている。そのような作品の背景にもきちんと思いを致してから判断せねばならないというのが、恐らくはこのシーンの教訓なのではないでしょうか。
