      I was looking out my bedroom window and I saw a cat flying across the street 😱

      @@angelstarz92 yes by a long way too, the mainstream media cheat somewhat by quoting wind gusts on exposed headlands in the English Channel of 120mph+ when most built up inland areas only saw gusts of around 60 to 70mph generally, the 1987 storm and this storm in 1990 saw gusts inland including in London exceeding 90mph and winds were widely in excess of 100mph over populated coastal districts.

    1987 wasn't a hurricane... it had hurricane forced winds
