Restaurant Style chicken
500 gms Chicken (boneless)
15 Cashewnuts
5 red Chilies
3 tbsp oil
3 medium size onions
2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp red chili powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 cup Tomato puree (100ml)
½ tbsp Garam Masala
1 tbsp Salt
½ cup water (75 ml to 100 ml)
Coriander leaves for Garnish
Method
Clean and wash the chicken. And keep it aside
Heat a pan add the cahewnuts and red chili, dry roast for 5 minutes to 7 minutes
Add the cahewnuts and red chili to a mixer and ground into a fine paste using few drops water.
In a kadai heat the oil, add the chopped onions and saute well for 7 minutes
Then add the ginger garlic paste and saute well until the raw smell goes off
Add the red chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder and mix well
Now add the chicken to the masala and coat well
Add the cahewnut paste, tomato puree in this stage and mix well
Add the required amount of water for the consistency
Add the salt and mix well
Close it with a lid and cook the chicken for 10 minutes
Then add the garam masala and mix well
Switch off the stove and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Serve it hot with rotis or naan …
