It's clear how Scott doesn't appear at this ceremony looking as happy, relaxed and fun as we're used to seeing him. Scott himself confesses that he is nervous. It gives the idea that, given all the affection that Scott showed for Tessa, that Scott must have really liked Tessa, and probably had to endure, and resolve, the frustration of Tessa not having probably decided to marry him. Scott seems to be a little hurt by the reality he had probably to face due to the new realignment he had to define for his relationship with Tessa. And, it seems that Scott is solving this issue very well by admitting how wonderful it was to have his partnership with Tessa, as he says, and I quote "We felt a fire inside us when we skated, that, guys, no one can take that away from us ". This sentence is wonderful and very adult, showing that Scott does not deny the reality that his good partnership with Tessa was, how happy he was with her, and that this relationship experience with Tessa will never leave his life. Here, Scott shows that he has personality and that he will not allow himself to be manipulated by someone. It’s a case to say, Wonderful and Adult decision by Scott . Scott seems to be an excellent person and deserves to be very happy in his family and emotional life. My best wishes are that Scott can achieve these goals in his private life.

Also, notice how Scott never moves to the side when it's Tessa's turn to speak even though Tessa moves to the side every time he speaks. That's Adorable! But I guess he's a little hurt that he won't be able to spend the time he had with Tessa again so, that's probably why he would want to stay close to her. Maybe just to feel that unique connection they had years ago, even it's only for a short time.
It does sort of underwrite my perception right or wrong that Tessa was a driving force for Scott. Has no one else noted Tessa was not born with that cutely tilted nose but she was born with very broad shoulders?
Congratulation to the Greatest Ice Dancers to ever step on the ice. Today I will be watching all their progams on youtube, I just love these to incrediable humans!
I don't follow this sport, this art, but it makes my heart so happy, so incredibly okay when I watch this. I've gone through stupid amounts of trauma in my life, and when I watch them skate I feel okay. It's the biggest compliment I can give. Being able to take that pain away even for a moment is something I cannot convey the gravity of.
